Best pastries, sandwichs, and juices we've ever had! Cubano sandwich was full of flavor with perfectly cooked meat. The doughnuts and Nutella pastries were so light and fluffy and had the right amount of sweetness. 10/10 would recommend

Beef empanadas very dry breading and filling to include no flavor. Pork was fatty and unseasoned. The tostones were extremely greasy and unseasoned. I don’t understand why people keep opening restaurants giving out mediocre food. I am a cook and have been told I should open a restaurant. I have been to culinary and my advice to anyone who wants to service the public with their food is to get feedback from strangers. My recommendation would be to marinate the meat and provide a true sauce other than ketchup mixed with mayo. Tostones should have garlicky sauce or topping. The empanadas were by far the worse I have ever tasted not an onion or salt or pepper. The dough tasted like it never seen lard or butter or nothing.

A great place to eat. My favorite is breakfast and the pressed sandwiches. Authentic Puerto Rican bread here. All I can say is try it for yourself. I guarantee you will like it.

Ordered the carne empanadas and a couple of pastries. Empanadas was nicely done, loved the breading on it as well as the light fluffiness of the pastries. Would recommend and would also visit again, also had a little crowded so luckily we showed up before it got too overwhelming for the cashier.

Amazing food and even better service!
The food at Coquí Café was excellent, but the service truly stood out. The staff helped me choose what to order and even helped me pronounce the names, which made the experience welcoming and stress-free. I had the empanadillas, pionono, pizza, and carne everything was fresh and absolutely delicious. I’ll definitely be back!

Horrible service, stall bread on Saturday afternoon. And there sandwich the tripleta was Nasty. I’ll rather drive to Downtown Killeen to pick up a Tripleta at Puerto Rican store. Bread not toasted super sweet couldn’t eat it. Wasted $12. Wrapped in aluminum then the sandwich wrap which made it even soggier. Never going back.

Walked in tried to order a bread there was a lady on the phone taking forever with her order and they didn’t want to sell me no bread while they were waiting on the lady to figure out what she wanted to order and she was on the phone. so I left. they’re not open on Sunday they’re not open late. They try to sell you stall bread on Saturday afternoon.

The pancakes that comes with the breakfast plate is okay. But the sausages were dried. The ratio as far as hash browns and eggs and sausage were way off. They served so much hash brown and so little eggs. The toast is great.
