Me and my family came here to eat and the place was empty( no customers), I think only one more customer and then us. We were seated right away and our server gave us our menus and we never saw here again. We waited for over 15 minutes and ended up just leaving. This place used to be great but now just has gone down hill, please save your money and go to black bear diner or ihop.

Eric was such an amazing server and just went above and beyond. He continued checking up on us asking if we needed any refills, asked and provided alternatives for us with all of the food that we asked for.

My server Eric did an amazing job. He checked on us, asks if we were okay, he asked if we needed refills and honestly just went above and beyond as our server. I’m pretty glad that he didn’t just sit us down and just leave us there.

. Denny’s – Temple, TX
We went in around 7:30 PM on Wednesday night, and there were rats inside the building, moving around as if they owned the place. There were honestly more rats than customers. Because of this, I will not be returning to the Temple, TX location.
This restaurant has been a part of my childhood, which makes this especially disappointing but this was the final straw.
The issues here are ongoing:
The AC rarely works when it’s needed
A drive-thru was built at great expense but is almost always closed
Management is ineffective
The restroom paper towels are so thin they’re like writing paper, making it impossible to dry your hands
The restrooms consistently smell bad
These problems are fixable:
1. Hire a proper exterminator and pest control service
2. Repair or replace the AC
3. Spend a little more on decent paper towels and air freshener.
I will truly miss the wait staff, they’ve always been kind and hardworking but I’m not willing to risk getting sick due to rats running freely and contaminating the space.
This location needs serious attention.

I like the remodel. Good selection and I even tried something new. Waiter was on his game. Not super expensive for 3 diners either.

Charlotte killed it with our meal this morning! She came in clutch with the recommendations and had my eggs remade quickly. Very attentive without being annoying and we didn't have to wait for our check, which I love! She was so friendly and personable and went out of her way to make sure we had a great experience.
