Just spent several weeks in the Dominican Republic and honestly this food was better than anything we had on the island in a resort or on the street no baby,. The empanadas were the best empanadas My wife says she’s ever had in her life…(she’d Dominican). The salad, a large portion and flavorful. Delicious seasoned guandules! AMAZING RICE! . and the Pollo Guisado was better than mine. GO HERE.

First time visiting and I will be back. The food was delicious (included beef and pork empanadas) and service by Anais was friendly, attentive, and timely.

Cute place with a great patio and view. The food was good. We started with some tostones. They were tasty. They came with two sauces. I had the fish. It was a nice lightly fried fish. Great flavor. If you're not adventurous, they have a good burger as well. It comes with egg and avocado. The best part was the unsweet tea. I wasn't expecting lime in it already, but wow!!!! It was so good. They served it in a chilled cup. I definitely want more!!! Service was good.

You will definitely feel like you stepped into DR. You get all the products and empanadas were GREAT! My husband and I definitely felt like our times back home. Highly recommend!

As a Dominican American, this place is my go-to in DFW. When I'm craving something Dominican this is the first place that comes to mind. The service is great, timely and friendly. They also include treats from DR that add color and variety. I recommend the sancocho (stew) and Banderita (tradicional rice and beans with stewed chicken). I've also included pictures of my takeout after I bought it home.

The food is verrry tasteful, there’s nothing like authentic Dominican cuisine. Whoever prepares the food, they have been at it for a while, it’s just something about the goodness of the taste and presentation. I had the soursop drink, it was superb presented in the cultural container that sweats, cold and full of goodness. I recommend this place if you are in Irving Texas. The food comes out pretty quick.

Truly a Dominican product from the moment you walk through the door. I had los 3 Golpes (Mangu, salami and fried cheese) and it was without a doubt the creamiest Mangu I've tasted in the DFW area. Waiters were super polite and attentive, and Anais, the owner was awesome (she gave me a handful of dominican mints - the same my grandma used to bring me!). I took some Dominican Cake to go and had it with my coffee the next morning it was awesome as well. They sell a bunch of Dominican products as well, which they pack in bags that are typically used in bodegas in the DR (excellent touch). Highly reccommend this spot, specially if you are looking to dine with culture. Excelente jartera lo recomiendo!! I will definitely be back!

Amazing food and good service.
Wanted to write a better review because the food was decent, but they charge you a fee to use credit cards. Only AFTER we were home, we saw a $5 upcharge.
We tipped generously and still got hit with that charge. At least have the decency to tell people BEFORE they are dining there that you want them to pay YOUR credit card processing fees!!
Not returning!!
