So apparently this place isn’t Fernanda’s anymore but a family owned business. I went in to try the menudo and I’m disappointed. Tastes like they burnt the tripe, froze it, unfroze it, and warmed it up. I won’t be back.

mexican food and the scene here is better than most. It was so appetizing. Service treated us so kindly. The bill was appropriate. Feels like a place in Los Angeles I loved.

First time going to this place, service was average, waitress didn’t put too much effort, we were there for over an hour for a simple meal and it wasn’t even that busy. We were glad when we finally got the food and it was actually really good. So food was good despite the overall service quality.

Me and a friend came here about a week ago maybe a little less and got the posole and it was horrible, it tasted like pure salt. I had heard great things so it’s unfortunate that it wasn’t good
Had a to go order and the Pozole tasted like straight salt , wasn’t even edible . Had to trash it .

If I could give 0 stars I would. I'm not the type to bash especially on small locally owned restaurants as I am a huge supporter of small town business but.. I came in for the first time and ordered the pozole. My food came out and the presentation of the plate was nice and as I was putting the fixings in my soup I noticed the cabbage had MOLD.. I showed the server and she never apologized just took the fixings back. When I was paying I informed the cashier about the incident and all she responded was "I told the cook, he received fresh product so he will just use that now" not once did I get an apology or here let me fix it. Definitely will not be going back.
