Very NY establishment! The food is so authentic and delicious. The owner is an Italian New Yorker so you already know the flavor of everything is outta this world.

I found Ferrari's Pizza in Killeen, Texas when i was first stationed on Fort Hood, Texas in 1971. I was looking for a pizza that was most like what i am use to in New England, being from a Maine fishing town that had many Italians and their version of what a pie or Italian sandwich should taste like. When i found Ferrari's I was blown away that it was like being back home the food was so authentic, of course it was very evident he was from New York ..when you have any kind of conversation with him you will hear some of the most colourful and entertaining language to come out of someone from New England..We call it Wicked Funny..so be prepared for the BEST pies and sandwiches around.. ..take it from a pie and sandwich connoisseur.....

Repartee from Mr Ferrari is impeccable. JUST as his food,it is New York style food just Killeen water. The food is consitant and great portions ask what's fresh he will tell you. Truly worth the time and prices haven't changed in 10

He has a cookie jar filled with black Oreo cookies. The label on the jar reads "Obama Cookies". I was definitely offended and will not be going back. As a human, he's entitled to his racial preferences, but as a business owner, why put it on display for your customers to see?

We have been here several times and Ferraris is the BEST Italian sandwich/gyro place I’ve ever been to! This time, I got the Italian with cherry peppers and olives and my friend got the meatball sub. These things are HUGE! Half of one sandwich is the size of Subway’s foot-long. And it was around 20 bucks for two sandwiches and two drinks! CASH ONLY! The bread is fresh and toasted and all of the meat is high quality and delicious! If you are easy offended, don’t even bother coming in because you will get your crybaby feelings hurt with some of the postings on the walls. As for my friends and I, we enjoy reading all of the signs and jokes. It brightens my day!

Racism and treating people badly because of skin color isn't funny or acceptable.

I finally tried one of Ferrari's subs today and I wasn't disappointed! Ferrari's is a little hole in the wall place that will seat a dozen people, if they're friendly. The owner, a crusty elderly gentleman, is chief cook and bottle washer and will take your order at the tiny window in the rear. Be aware that this is a cash only business and cards of any kind aren't accepted. My sandwich, a toasted Italian sub, was ready within a few minutes - not even enough time to read all the signs plastering the walls. The sandwich itself is huge (and tasty) and I was barely able to eat half. The decor is certainly politically incorrect, and if you're easily offended, you may get your feeling hurt. The food, however, is great.

Went with a friend and he completely ignored her order every time she wanted to order and conveniently took the 2 white guys orders that were after her

I really don't understand the rating this place has but I went today bc of it. I got a "NY steak and cheese" just mayo....not even gonna go into my interaction, just basing my review on food ONLY. Absolutely nothing like NY. The bread may be homemade, but it was very hard and stale. Not sure what the gray "meat" was, but it was gross and not seasoned at all. And it smells like rotting hamburger. I thought it was just me, so I took it in to my coworkers, and they all turned away in disgust. It's time to retire or turn it over to someone who can deliver QUALITY food. I really wanted to love this place but sadly, NO...never again.

Decor is questionable. Good thing I went for the food. For $24.00 my wife and I got two of the biggest, most unique, and authentic subs! Crazy good! Be patient when you go. Totally worth it!

Best Subs in Texas, and Florida. I went there several times when I was MOBed. Can't wait to MOB again in 2023. Owner is only employee. He is an old school great guy. Enjoy the food and conversation.
