I went there about 4.15pm for a sandwich as I hadn’t had lunch. When I arrived there were no staff outside so I used the toilet first and then went to sit at one of the outside tables to sit and order. As I was walking to a table, I heard a voice behind me of one of the staff rudely saying ‘yes’. I said I would like to sit down and get some food. She said they don’t have food, only drinks and it is 2 euros for using the toilet! A toilet which, by the way, the door didn’t close, was dirty and had toilet paper everywhere. But that is not the point. I said I didn’t want a drink, I would have liked to order a sandwich. I didn’t come to just use the toilet, I came to eat. She said I would have known there was no food if I had not used the toilet 1st! I said I needed to use the toilet 1st and then I was going to sit down and order. Who would think that a cafe/restaurant wouldn’t have food when it is open all day for food? And who would think that because they didn’t have food, I should pay to use the toilet. The lady there was extremely rude and very forceful in making me give her 2 euros. I think it is disgusting when all I wanted was a sandwich as I was very hungry as I had not eaten since 8.30am. We were here for a week and that would have been our go to place for lunch but we will definitely not be stepping foot in there again. Extremely disappointed in the rudeness and attitude of the staff in this restaurant.

Lovely beach front location. Relaxed and peaceful as long as the planes don't bother you. Food is cheap n cheerful. Melina ( I think) never stops and is very efficient and polite. Lovely girl . Defo go back

This is such a lovely place to have a beer and something to eat as you watch the planes come in to land at nearby Cephalonia airport. It’s situated opposite Ames beach. There’s a bus stop right outside so you can have a drink whilst waiting for the bus. The service is brilliant- the waitress here is absolutely amazing. She’s polite, attentive and approachable. She works so hard to make sure you are catered for. The food was lovely. 10/10.

Recently stayed in Astra Village and we came to this bar every evening for a drink and to watch the sunset. We were very welcomed every time we arrived, good selection of drinks and very reasonable prices. Best to be there for 8pm then watch the sunset before 9pm, best sunset I’ve ever seen. Highly recommended

Good simple food and cold drinks place. Very reasonably priced. Clean and quick service. Good shade out of the blazing sun and close to Ammes beach.

Omg!! My family and i came here looking forward for a new snack place and i am amazed and satisfied with everything!! Food was the bomb and the staff was so friendly (my mom even had a long convo with the lady) i would definitely recommend. I will be back for sure!!!!!
