Shouting out Zays for the most incredible crawfish boil I've had in ages! Everything was seasoned perfectly, the crawfish were juicy and fresh, and the portions were generous. Plus, the staff was super friendly! 5 out of 5 ✨ (stars), and a standing ovation for the chef! Give them a try, you will not be disappointed.
How does a gourmet hotdog place not serve hotdogs on Sundays? Wife and I wanted to try and saw nothing online that said Sundays are only seafood so we wasted our time and gas
I wanted something small to eat so I drove to Zay’s Gourmet Dawgs, LLC for a Detroit dog. It was absolutely delicious. It was loaded with chili, cheese, and onions but not in a way that leaves you with a mess. They are also on UberEats and Grubhub as well.
I have really been craving blue crabs during the summer and unfortunately Tx is a dry state so it’s hard to get them… we’ll I was scrolling through fb and saw Zay’s advertisement for crabs and decided to give them a try! First off the male crabs are jumbo!! Full of meat. Seasoned thoroughly I forgot to take a picture because after I tasted a leg from the platter I got to work! I highly recommend if you want flavorful blue crabs that aren’t skimpy. Craving satisfied and I will be buying again.
I was with a friend who asked if I was hungry and took me there. It is in a strip mall in Killeen. You go to the counter to order. There is no sign board or menu; just a photocopied flier that says all entres come with 2 sides and are $12.95 But that is not true. For a fried pork chop (and they did not have some of the sides)and 3 wings the bill was over $30 without a drink. I think most of their business must be take out, because they kept fixing carry out meals, but didn't get to us for close to a half hour. Then came and said they didn't have mac and cheese. But we still didn't get our food. The food finally came, in a Styrofoam to go box. They gave us each a plastic fork, which was no match for a fried pork chop. So I used my fingers. The food was good (not great, but good). But they did not bring the substitute side I had ordered. But when mentioned did eventually. The food is generally good, there is no table service, the wait is long and it ain't cheap. But they seemed to have lots of folk coming to take out food!
