Eating Adventures With Omar

Sarah's kitchen is a hidden gem that the people of Killeen need to come out and support. Everything we ate was amazing! I knew the food was going to be good from the moment we walked in and saw smiling faces sitting at tables and all the great looking dishes they were dining on. Conversations were happening, but they were minimal due to everyone eating. We ordered and waited patiently. The lumpia came out first, and they were perfect. If you're looking for good lumpia, this is the spot! Our entrees came out next, and the portions definitely matched with the pricing. You will be full, so come ready to eat. The pancit bihon was next level. Everything was fresh and packed with flavor. The pork adobo was also top tier and highly recommended. Last but not least, the Halo Halo! This is one of the best desserts I've had. The different flavors and textures are unbelievable and paired like no other. Please give Sarah's Kitchen a try. My only complaint is we didn't get all sixteen of our lumpia. Only ten were brought out initially, and we were so full and satisfied that we forgot to ask about the rest of them.

Poor Customer Services!!!No customer appreciation. !Rude, impolite services, misleading advertisement.Remember if there's no customer, there's no business.I've been going to this restaurant since 2021. From their recent place to their current place.Hear me.A couple of days, we moved back to TX, and this is back 2021. The first time I went here, my bills were $100+ plus tax already.. I ordered a lot from the menu since I miss filipino foods, and then not even a week after my family 1st visits we came back again and had a dine in and take out some more filipino dish. I ordered almost everything in their menu. Every visits we will purchased more than 3 orders or more plus desserts. Their food prices are not cheap. They introduce the card that when you order and buy, you'll get a stamp, and when you reach 6 or 8 stamps, then you'll get a free 1 dish on their combo.I started to patronize this Restaurant as I support small businesses and countrymen abroad. Despite that there are several fil. Restaurants in the area that I support as well. I PATRONIZE them too and they served you with smile and are always nice and kind unlike in Sarah Restaurant's, just too bad that Ser Caloys have to move different states their sisig and pork sinigang was so darn good.Anyhow, I breastfeed my kid and I always feel thirsty and hungry hard to lose weight right away. I think it's rude when Sarah asked me if I am pregnant but I choose to ignored the rude statements and personal question and seize the day instead. My friends from other States visits us to TX last year, and I brought them to Sarah Restaurant's. Not only that our Family is a regular paying customer, but I brought them more business. My husband brought me Filipino foods from Austin. Like I said I like to support my countrymen business here in abroad. The foods he bought has a handwritten of fil. Dish he ordered for to go on top of the Styrofoam. He thought it was neat. One day I craved for filipino foods and decided to get some at Sarah for foods to go and since I got a couple stamps to claim for the said free dish. My husband pick me up fil. Foods and told me that the owners are purely rude to him. When he just only asked and request if they can write down what dish on a foods he ordered and they told him that customer don't request that and that Sarah husband asked my husband if he is looking for some trouble. Also they told him that to get the free dish he needs 10 stamps now and give him an attitude and put him to a awkward uneasy situations. I was at the car with my newborns and toddler so I didn't knew he have to go through and deal with that. This is actually not the 1st time they been rude to him.Last time he went to pick up some foods to go he was in his apfu uniform and asked for the disc. They got this advertisement in their front desk table but told him that they only give discounts to the one that has asu. Kinda misleading advertisement but my husband thought worth to try to asked and did not insist no more. They act weird towards certain customer., I guess. The waiting is like road to forever when we went there it's empty and no customer but we wait for almost an hour.If you got a good paying customer that patronize your business for years you shouldn't treat them rude and bad.We drove half an hour to visit and buy and got nothing but rude services. That’s very bad business and very inconsiderate to not only your customers but to your fellow countrymen. Hope if we come back we will get a accommodating and a good pleasant smile and kind, fast services, if there's still a next time. Hindi Yung nakakunot ang noo na galit. Why getting into a hospitality carrer industry if you weren't not in the mood to serve 1 customer. Gesh!Pictures attached1st pic is their recent place. The 2nd pics are filipino foods to go from Filipino Restaurant's from Austin, and 3rd pics are taken inside their current place, empty and no customer.

Had lunch here today it's usually good but today was kind of off and slow, inside the building was colder than outside. Took about 8 minutes to finally order and the food was partially cooked? We said not to worry about it but in the end they complained about us as if we messed up the food lol, even though we didn't care. I understand what was said in Filipino in the back when we paid, not professional and last time we eat there.

Unassuming place that you might drive by, but don't! Stop and give it a try! Sarah's Kitchen serves authentic Filipino food that tastes great. We got the combo meal with spaghetti and BBQ pork sticks. If you like Filipino spaghetti, this is the place to get it, and the pork BBQ was perfectly seasoned and tender. We also tried the pancit and the lumpia. Both were very good. Highly recommend that you give this place a try!

Staff is wonderful. Caught them as they were closing and kind enough to serve me.Palabok was flavorful, but there was not enough sauce for the amount of noodles. It was filling. I plan to return and try the other dishes. The atmosphere is under construction. I am looking forward to seeing how the place will look once they complete rennovations.

Restaurant is dingy… ?Spaghetti was not tasty. Lumpia was very skinny. The ones I’m used to eating are thick. Lumpia did taste good though. Halo halo was quite good.$22 for my spaghetti and lumpia plate + halo halo. Not cheap place to eat lol.

I recently discovered this little gem downtown. The pancit was amazing. The lumpia were a little skinnier than I am used to, but they tasted very good. 5 out of 5. Go try this place out. You will not be disappointed.

10/10. The food takes a while but it comes out hot and delicious. I don't know why they don't have more business. It was super fresh and friendly. I did get it to go.
