Once in a while, that craving kicks in for one Filipino dishes. The winner: Kare Kare; a traditional recipe is made with oxtail - delish! However, given the recent price increases, the version we tried at Ser Caloy's was satisfying enough. It's all about the sauce and beef texture. Craving satisfied!Among other signature dishes, we also had Tinola (ginger chicken soup), Pancit Guisado (stir-fried noodles), and Lumpiang Shanghai (fried meat rolls). We can't forget to mention the personable customer service enjoyed while chatting a bit with our server, during downtime. This made a comfortable dining experience.Parking: Parking lot plaza

I had the special and it was delicious, crispy skin on chicken and pork. I don't really like veggies but the chopsuey was flavorful so I ate all of it. Google maps made me turn at the wrong spot but I saw the sign so it was fine.

When you first walk into restaurant you feel at home. Many murals and pictures reminding me of the Philippines. As I sit down I order some Lumpia. The service was really fast and the food tasted fresh and crunchy. The Lumpia was great and it came with a huge serving size. I ordered my favorite from my grandmas cooking which was the kare kareng Baka which tasted like it was a home cooked meal. The service was fast and the food was still steaming from them cooking it fresh. The waiter was nice and inviting. The Halo-Halo was amazing as well. I wanted to order some more food but I was already full but I will definitely be coming back for more. 10/10 best Filipino restaurant I've been to in my life.

The food is excellent. I was expecting it to taste like the other Filipino restaurants, but this is the most authentic one I've eaten at in a while. The place is quite clean and the staff is kind. Absolutely recommend.

Food is delicious! It's in a hidden green of downtown so you have to find it along the main road. Fried chicken skin is so crispy and delicious

Visited this restaurant for lunch today. Absolutely delicious! Friendly and helpful staff. Everything is made fresh to order. I was so pleased to find a Filipino restaurant, and then to have it be so great, I am very pleased. We will be back.

To be honest, I suppose I already walked in with like a 4 star review- since it isn’t my mom’s cooking ?. The waitress was nice. The place had it’s own character. Cool little hole in the wall type of spot. But, also some sketchy characters lurking around the area. Food was ok.

We tried this restaurant on a Saturday evening. Personally I think they should try to get a location closer to the highway. This place has really delicious authentic Filipino food and needs to be more accessible. We ordered Lumpia, pancit bihon, beef Karé karé, and a soup made with coconut milk, shrimp, kabocha squash, and long beans. My taste buds were in heaven. If you’d like to try something you’ve never had, live a little and give this restaurant a try. So good. So delicious. I will be back. Especially for the coconut soup.

We tried this restaurant last year, the food we ordered was fine. I haven’t try their other food yet so i will give it a 3 star. Maybe i was expecting it to taste like back home or like other Filipino resto I’ve been to here in TX. Anyways, the fried chicken was good and crispy. The place is neat and spacious and the lady who served us was friendly. I will return and try their other food next time.

I’m so glad there’s another Filipino restaurant in Killeen it definitely is real Filipino food like back home, I do agree the portions are quite small for the price but the quality is very good the food is fresh and delicious I’ll definitely come back here! It’s clean and the server was very nice and attentive thank you Ate!

This place is fantastic! They have some really good food very well prepared and super tasty! The staff was very friendly and happy to help! Also very knowledgeable about their dishes. I was torn because I love good filipino food so we ordered a little of everything and I was not let down! Just check out the quality of that pork preparation, amazing! Good job! We will be coming back!

I first saw this on my FB timeline and was curious so I decided to check it out, I really liked the menu. When I feel like eating filipino food and don't have the time to cook I just come here. I ordered the crispy kare kare since I never had that before. great service, great prices and great menu. I'm definitely coming back.
