Bartender was rude, private bar? No wonder the parking lot is empty. Once I started to walk out she offered to “ sign me up” for their “ private bar”. No thanks.

I live down the street and wanted an informal place within walking distance to grab a beer Took a bar stool seat and was told to fill out an application and pay a fee. Some body came up and said I was in his seat. So that, the smoke filled atmosphere, and having to pay a fee are all lousy ways to treat vets, Tear this place down and extend the Walmart parking lot!

I was hoping for a nice evening celebrating a birthday with friends who have previously frequented this establishment but was sadly disappointed. We had to fill out a membership card just to buy a drink, and then, after having a few beverages, the manager chose to "embarrass" my friend and forced us to leave. It is the first and last time I will ever show my face in this below standard bar. When you walk into a bar on a Saturday night and it is empty, there's a good reason why. The only explanation we got for why we had to leave was a disgruntled possible employee? Who would not even allow my friend to apologize after 6 years. Get over yourself, Ryan! GO ANYWHERE ELSE!!!!

Stay away from this horrible excuse for a bar! Four years ago after I had a little too much fun on my birthday and ran my mouth at the bartender Ryan, I was asked not to return here without first apologizing to him. That is fair, but the opportunity to do so has not presented itself until now as I moved away from Killeen shortly after the night I made a mistake and then went through cancer treatment & recovery. When I came back to Silverwings tonight to celebrate my bestie's birthday with friends at her request for the first time after my altercation with Ryan, I was fully ready to apologize and take ownership of my mistake because that is what grown ups do, but he refused to speak to me so Angie told us our party had to leave. Pretty petty if you ask me and I'm not sure how I can possibly fix the issue when a grown a** man acts like a child? Whatever...your trailer bar isn't worth all this drama and I won't ever return. You owe my friend an apology for ruining her night for no good reason. If you're looking for a place to hang out with friends, this place is not worth your time or money. Go anywhere else!
