We enjoyed our experience at Tacos Penjamo but found the food to be just average. I had birria, kids had the kid chicken meals. They are generous with the chips and table salsa, which is a plus, but the meals themselves were only good, not great.
Service was excellent - very quick, very attentive, we definitely felt welcome and appreciated.
Vibe is good and the menu has good dessert options if you’re still hungry!

Can't speak for the food as I didnt have any but the horchata tasted like chalk. I've had horchata thats a bit rougher with texture because of the rice but I dont even think my drink was filtered once. Went into the trash after a couple sips.

Advertised prices are not accurate at all. I came in to pick up my orders and it was about $85 dollars according to their website, then I go to pay and they charge $122. False advertising. I asked why prices on website are inaccurate, first they said they haven’t updated the website, then said they are trying to take down the website because everyone is getting mad. Lucky no one has reported that mistake. Smh I hope the drive and price hike are worth it!

I come from Cali, home of the best Mexican food in the US. I’ve tried a handful of Mexican spots in the area and this is the closest I’ve come to finding tacos that taste just as delicious as the many places in Cali. The rice and beans are amazing too! I’ll be trying out other things on their menu!

Prices online, on their own website we're to put our order at around 46, we called to place an order and they said 75. I asked them why and most of the prices were close to double of what is online. They them stated over the phone that the procez must be wrong online and that only door dash has correct prices. Didn't get to try the food but this itself made us cancel this order. Like previous review stated, this is bating at its finest.

So I will say this place is SO inconsistent. Over the last few months my wife and I have enjoyed eating here. We typically get our order to go or through DoorDash. Half of the time they get our order correct and we are happy. The other half our order will be messed up or cold. Today we ordered again for lunch and got cold crunchy rice and I have cold enchiladas. I’m not sure what is going on or who makes sure that orders are to standard but you will not get that here. Will most likely not be coming back to this establishment again.

When you ask for onions and cilantro on the side and instead get to play find the asada in the cebolla (basically my tacos was covered in the toppings). . . I love the food just . . next time on the side please. <3
Food is great but if you order for pickup, check the food. This is the second time I have order tacos and 3-4 of them barely had any meat in them. Especially with large orders.

Ordered takeout for the first time it wasn’t bad. The prices online definitely were not the prices that were given for takeoutThe pico was so spicy it went to waste for the price we paid I thought it would have been better. We got steak, Barbacoa and Carnita taco. Nachos and a few other things and spent almost $100 so for the price I was just a little disappointed.

I’d give this place a 10/10 if it weren’t for the BATE & SWITCH advertising.. As you can see from the photos, the online price was VERY different from the actual amount paid. The food is worth the price but when you expect one price & get charged another , that’s not okay. Restaurants have a responsibility to the customer to be upfront with the cost of services. I did pay the bill because I know the food is good and my family was waiting for dinner but dang. Companies have been sued for far less. Whom ever is running the website needs to be fired before someone takes legal action.

Flavor on point best Mexican Food i have had in years no joke.My daughter and I went yesterday and bith of us were very impressed with the quality of food and the staff really treat you like family. My daughter had the chicken chimichanga and I had the beef chimichanga and holy moly AMAZING
