Joy by Thai Thai is an amazing restaurant! Walking in, the food smelled great, and the place was spotless. It was quiet, and it was easy to talk while also blending in with some of the background noise. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the food was phenomenal. It cost us less than $40 to feed 3 people with rice to go. I recommend getting the chicken spring rolls and the woon sen; they are packed with flavor. Overall, if you are looking for spectacular Thai food in the area, look no further than here.

This place very good it’s a hidden lil gem and open til late I got Thai Thai wings loved it the chicken egg rolls very good to idk why they even have bad reviews the chicken curry was the absolute best I will be coming back
This is the best Thai restaurant in the area, I’ve ordered shrimp fried rice with medium to the hottest spice for years now, it’s great. Over the years my family and I have received our order with live gnats in it and despite us throwing it away, we still made our way back to ordering shrimp fried rice from there. It’s been a while since I have ordered and today I had taste for it, so I went looking for it on Door Dash once again. On Door Dash shrimp fried rice is no longer listed on their menu and because I wasn’t privy to them moving to a new location, I decided to call and see if this was the same restaurant I’ve bought from all these years. The gentleman answered and I must have caught him at the wrong time, he was cutting me off quite a lot as I confirmed they are indeed the same restaurant I once knew. After confirming, I went to confirm if they still served shrimp fried rice or not since on Door Dash all I seen was Curry Fried Rice. He ended up asking a lady (possibly the cook) and he informed me that they “no longer take custom orders” and he also referred me to another website to place my order. He also kept repeating throughout the call that they are in the process of fixing the menu on their app. He told me they were busy and it was apparent that he was in a rush. At this point I hadn’t been on the phone with the gentleman no more than 3 minutes as I remained patient with him. From my perspective he was being very rude with me and it felt like he was rushing me off the phone. After he told me they are too busy at the moment to do a “custom order” - the shrimp fried rice my family and I have ordered for over 5 years, he asked me to what I’d like to order. Before I could even finish asking my final question, which would’ve been “when do you think the app will be fixed”, he hung up in my face. Him hanging up in my face was quite disturbing because I kept my cool the entire call. Not once did I have an attitude, I went with the flow. I think it was disturbing mostly because I recognize his voice. I’ve always known them to be very polite people, so it sucks to be treated like I was treated today. Even after being disrespected, I tried to call back to no avail. Although their food is great, when it doesn’t have gnats in it 5% of the time, it sucks to not be able to have some of my favorite food in the city because I will never order from this restaurant again. I wish you all the best, I hope you all can find it in your heart to treat your customers who respect you all with the same respect. It truly is sad that y’all treat the very people who have supported your business for years with such little love. I know people aren’t perfect and people may hate to serve people, but I hope the gentleman that hung up in my face finds peace. Based on the call, you all deserve 0 stars

I absolutely love this restaurant. The food is so good. You have to get there early before they quit taking orders hands-down one of the best.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Must-Try Thai Spot!
I’ve been coming here regularly, and every time I order the Garlic Shrimp, Chicken Fried Rice, and Chicken Egg Rolls — it’s a flavor-packed experience! The garlic shrimp is always perfectly seasoned and cooked just right. The chicken fried rice is full of savory goodness with just the right balance of texture and flavor. And the egg rolls? Crispy, golden, and packed with deliciousness.
The food here is simply awesome — consistent, fresh, and full of authentic Thai flavor. If you’re looking for a go-to spot for great Thai cuisine, this place never disappoints. Highly recommend!

The food was good but nothing special. A lot of sauce and not as much meat & veggies. They closed early before business hours posted. I paid $40 for 2 dishes and 1 soda.

I had previously ordered pad krow pa, with shrimp. I was very disappointed, I was not at all pleased with my meal. The owner reached out to me apologized and said whenever I decided to come back she will personally prepare my meal free of charge and that is exactly what she did. I went in today after I got off of work she prepared my food and it was excellent. I appreciate her for reaching out to me and honoring her word. The food was absolutely amazing!

Delicious food, fast service, servings could be a little bigger, but still good. I had the Pad Thai, wife had Ka Prow. Maybe now that we have a real President back instead of bubbles biden, prices will get better. We are seniors, so we can't eat there but once a month. The folks are nice and it's nice little atmosphere. I recommend it!!

I once loved the food but since new ownership, I find the food no to be as tasty. Don’t think I go back to this restaurant.
Now to address the service, staff is very friendly but their hours of operation is horrible. Almost every time I go there, they are closed. I was so fed up that I asked a staff for a copy of their hours of operation which she provided. I went there on Friday at 2 pm and low and behold there was a hand written sign posted on the door saying ‘’”closed for lunch 2-4:30 pm”, which is contradictory to to the hours of operation the staff had provided me the week prior which said they were open 12-9 on Friday. There is no consistency in hours of operation. This is no way to run a business.
The food was delicious will be going back to

Yum! The food is a 5, delicious and fresh. Their Iced Coffee & Thai teas are the best. The dining area is a bit sad and neglected, so I just do carry out.
Always call to see if they're open before going or have a backup plan. I've driven way to many times only to find they were closed for various reasons and it wasn't showing as closed on maps.
Good thai is hard to find in this area. Always look for higher food ratings when deciding where to get your thai so you don't waste your money.
