The Catch

I visited 7/15/22. My husband has always ordered & curbside pickup. When I called and ordered the association stated it was recommended I pay for it in advance? Stated all I had to do was come in and sign. NP. I did. When I got there. I signed. Then I got food which was closest to me at the Register. 1st problem, I’m a Nurse, masked up and all. I don’t know any procedure and was not told procedures. I’m the only one in line. Instead of directing me to my food. I played “go Fish”game. I left to get home, wrong order. I called. Mgr drilled me about how I received my Food?????? I called. She states it waiting for you here. I live 15 min away, now it’s close to 45 min sitting on a counter. I asked for a ReMake, supposedly she did. But the Problem was “””” as soon as I walked in””” I was drilled….. Asking me how I picked it up, did she hand it to me? If she did she would be written up or fired. !!!! I asked what did it matter. She says it matters, this Mgr. Asked me the same ??? 7x. I stated to her I don’t Remember how I got it, I just know it’s not mine. Then here comes the frustration: I asked for a corporate # , she said no problem. She never wrote it, just arguing with me.” Then I asked for a REFUND, she refused and said I give it to you tomorrow. Now at this point, I’m fuming!!! I told her dome choice words, she stated I was VIOLENT, get out of her store, or she’s gonna call the Police! ••••Keep in mind , Im the Consumer” Folks it was not worth my Nursing License over a $50 meal””” After all that They Refried the same FOOD!!!!!!!…….. Folks as a Consumer we don’t have to take this! They need our Money to pay Salaries…. She didn’t Care about Service she wanted to Prove a Point , my Black Skin , yeppp, my Green Money didn’t matter either! My Question is “ Why do we Pay for bad Service & keep going back”…. Not me or my family & friends! One bad Mgr spoils the whole Experience!!! Of course every Where I can post this , I will!!!!

I had the white fish and hush puppies, Wife had Gater Po'Boy with fries and hush puppies both were very good. The menu on Facebook is dated, Things are a little expensive. Thank You Uncle Joe. You order at counter and pay first, The bring the food to the table.

Crawfish season was good. This place has definitely stepped it up ! Good fish ! Amazing customer service. The guy taking orders was so cool ! Wait time wasn’t to long. The food is was good so we didn’t mind waiting.Definitely will stop by and grab some catfish soon. And the salad Was a DELICIOUS Did I mention the benga’s

Excellent food, freshly made, steaming hot, wonderful comfort food. Generous portions... Enough to share or take home for another meal... After a relaxing dinner at The Catch...I took the rest of mine homeI had the gator and fish basket, with whitefish instead of catfish ~ the general manager accommodated my switch with grace. Freshly made homestyle fries, and hush puppies. Started with fried green tomatoes (oh SO good), and finished with chilled key lime pie. Totally was surprised by and enjoyed watermelon margaritas (alcoholic drinks free) to round out a relaxing early summertime dinner.The hospitality of the general manager was such a joy. He is peaceful, kind, an easy conversationalist ~with true Southern charm. Very gracious, welcoming, warm, fun, witty, knowledgeable, and he served me and others himself, as the restaurant filled with an early dinner crowd. I never felt rushed or as just a number...He does it all ~ front of the house, kitchen, wait on customers tables personally, made menu and drink suggestions, refilled my beverage, chatted as he delivered fresh food to each table, came back and checked on us each... I felt like I was in his home... His genuine care, interest, ease, conversation, 5 star service of each table and customer at his counter was consistent and with true excellence. The food was delicious and fillingThis was my first visit. I stayed long and actually really relaxed. And of course, their food quality is stellar.What a refreshing place ~ of he and his staff ~ with their really good hearts of true service and great food. A bright spot in my otherwise hot and harried day.I loved it...and this manager. Wow. Hugs y'all!!One of my (new) now favorite places...

Food is good. The place could use a good clean. The floors are very slippery, i think it's grease as most of the food is fried. But my spouse gets the grilled catfish with grilled veggies along with a bed of rice and 2 hush puppy's, I get one white fish with fries and 2 hush puppy's. I peel off the fried dough and enjoy the nice flake of the fish.

Great food and friendly staff, except on Sundays. The Sunday staff is rude and wouldn't take my valid coupon that I had. The lady that took my order stated the coupon was for catfish or whiting combo or basket, but the coupon did not state that. These coupons I got in the mail are good until the end of March. I ordered two shrimp tacos basket grilled, she told me the only come fried. I explained to her that have gotten the same exact shrimp tacos grilled last Saturday. The lady said they weren't suppose to do that, but she will let the cook know. This place has great food for franchise and friendly staff, just don't go on Sundays.

Called my order in, and Dakota was patient in getting all of my questions answered, since I didn't have the menu in front of me. Pick up was seamless. Food was excellent. Will be glad to go back when I can dine in and enjoy the complimentary frozen beverages.

i love the staff so polite and welcoming i came in to get a to go order and noticed that you all sold beignets and i wanted some but didnt want to wait long the guy up front heard me say that and got right on it making sure i didnt have to wait . That stood out the most about my experience here , was considerate about my time and not alot of restaurants are like that nowadays.

Crab and Shrimp boils for 2. , Boudin balls and 2 cups of gumbo. Literally inedible because of the amount of salt. $110 lunch with the wife. Will not be giving them another chance. TERRIBLE

Google needs a zero meter ijs. The fish and shrimp were alright. I won’t ever return this was my first visit and this was beyond horrible. You can tell the grease wasn’t change it was disgusting. When you don’t change your grease it makes your food taste worse. Please stop giving out that koolaid for free I see why it’s free. Don’t call a mixed drink alcoholic when it’s nothing but sugar and fruit juice. The bench we sat at almost killedus. These benches should be mounted too the floor NOT this one lifted all the way up what a way to ruin a date. The customer service was great but what else the gator was so tough and nasty it made teeth hurt. Please change your grease often your cooking seafood come on people. When you care about people your food taste better. There should be NO WAY that it should have been this horrible of an experience. I amTruly beginning to believe everything I’ve seen was a low the commercials and ads yes all lies! Nah I won’t ever come back I am good

This was my very first time at the The Catch and when I tell the service was excellent and the food was perfect. I never liked hush puppies, I always thought that they were gross but today “The Catch” made me a believer. James and Richard did a excellent job today with great customer service, as well as great food. You have a new customer, 5 stars ⭐️ all around…

This was my second time to this location since their opening. They were fast and accommodating and the restaurant was very clean, that is why they get 2 stars, however the food is less than to be desired. Greenbeans were full of oil and bad tasting, hushpuppies were overcooked and hard, and finally the white fish was absolutely horrid. It was under cooked and too much spicey seasoning that took away from the flavor of the fish.

Very friendly staff, excellent food. I had fried catfish, jumbo shrimp,fries, hush puppies everything tasted great. I will recommend The Catch. I will be going back in the future

The Owner needs to send someone He knows in to eat here. The Staff at the front are always Rude. This is My 3rd and last time in here. The Bathroom is Filthy. Just a all around Bad place to Eat. Probably why the Lobby is almost empty at Lunch time.

Tonight my husband and I ordered from The Catch. He got the catfish and shrimp plate and I got grilled shrimp and grits. Both items were terrible. The catfish and the shrimp is over cooked and no flavor. The shrimp with the grits is fried and was supposed to be grilled and are also over cooked and taste nasty. We have eaten here once before over a year ago and it was pretty good. After trying it again tonight we will not be eating here again. I’m not sure what happened over time but it was not for the better.
