My wife and went there this weekend and was told we could not eat inside to go through the drive because her licensed service dog wasn’t allowed in there. The owners reason was his other customers might not like eating with a pet. Well he’s not a pet he’s a licensed service dog and literally saves my wife’s life. When I tried to tell him that it is illegal and he couldn’t do that then he didn’t care and insisted we leave. We will be filling a complaint with the ADA because in 2026 this behavior is beyond belief. Ok he told us we can just go through his drive through. Excuse me but I will never give you and penny of my money.

My husband, my MIL and myself ate at The Waffle Den today around 11:00 a.m. It was a little busy, but we were greeted and enthusiastically had our order taken my Mrs. Owner. She was a delight and made us all smile and laugh. I had the butter pecan waffle, my husband had the blueberry waffle and my MIL had the country fried steak and gravy. My husband and I also had chicken tenders. We all loved the food! I don't have enough space to tell you how great that place is! We will definitely be going back and have been talking about what we want to try next time!

My family and I went here for breakfast. The food is good. My only concern is that the worker is using gloves, BUT they don't know how to use them properly. While waiting for our food, one worker had gloves to pick up all empty plates, then throw them in the trash can, open the door to bring food to the driver, and then pick up with the same gloves they used to prepare food. I would rather see a worker with bare hands and just keep washing them as they go than wearing gloves but touch everything with them. He's not the only one, though I saw another worker doing something. Hope they will be trained on how to properly use the gloves. Because the food is really good no doubt about that.

I visited for the first time today and was really disappointed with the wait. I ordered just a single waffle—no toppings, nothing extra—and waited over 20 minutes with no update. When I finally asked about it, I was told it would probably be another 5–10 minutes.
The customer service itself was great and the staff were polite, and yes, the place was busy, but not busy enough to justify that kind of wait—especially when there was no line at the register. What bothered me most is that no one acknowledged the long wait until I went up to the counter myself. I ended up handing my ticket back and telling them to give it to someone else because I had to leave.
As someone who owns a food business, I know that when there’s a single simple order, we try to bring that out first. Waiting 20 minutes for one plain waffle just doesn’t make sense. I really wanted to enjoy my first visit, but the experience missed the mark.

In Killeen over the weekend and went as a party of 4 adults and 2 kids and had a great dining experience!! Owner greeted us enthusiastically and explained the menu selections with a smile, the staff were all exceptionally friendly, polite and attentive. The food was delicious!! The kids each had chocolate waffles, and the rest of us tried the sweet potato, red velvet, strawberry, vanilla bean, and cinna waffles. My husband had the cornbread waffle. We had sides of eggs, bacon and sausage. Everything was perfect! Thank you!

I've been eating there for a while but finally writing a review because I actually convinced my husband to come out with me and try the food (he's mean and likes nothing lol). He was actually impressed. The food was great, obviously. But the customer service is what stands out. It feels like you're at your aunties house, you know the one that keeps all the cousins together with good food? Auntie and uncle come out and talk to you, give you random compliments and overall just makes it enjoyable. This isn't just a restaurant, it's a spot! IYKYK

Great place with a super friendly owner and staff. Took grandsons and they loved strawberry and chocolate waffles. Wife had cornbread waffles and loved it. I had original flavor waffles with chicken strips. Simple and easy place with great food. Come out and support this locally owned place!
