OMG!!Our 1st time being there,but will definitely not be our last,bought just a simple Donut on Friday evening, forgot about due to our eventful weekend,but went back on Saturday afternoon bought an apple Danish & it was sooo soft & delicious regretted not buying more,so on Sunday I rediscovered my donut purchased on Friday & let me tell you it still tasted Fresh could even still taste the glaze ??

Love visiting El Pastel Bakery whether its for sweetbread, their homemade jalapeno flour tortillas or even their barbacoa on the weekends. Everything is always fresh and their customer service is top notch.

Every time we visit my sister in Kingsville we make it a point to stop at this bakery. Sweet bread is so good. Tortillas a great too. Wonder if the mail out special orders to Houston??
