Customer service is perfect! Food is perfect! The environment is perfect. Great restaurant to go have great food and fun with friends and family. But I got to go and by the time I got home food was still like if I dined in.

Drove in from Corpus Christi to eat some of that awesome 👌 brisket and I got to say never a disappointment. Great service and good people. Brisket, pork ribs, beans, rice, Cole slaw, was very good. I rate with BBQ restaurant a 10 STAR.

WORST MANAGEMENT. RUDE TO HIS CUSTOMERS AND HIS STAFF. TALKED UGLY TO MY GRANDMOTHER AND YELLED AT HIS STAFF IN FRONT OF EVERYONE. 10/10 NEVER RECOMMEND. WE WAITED OVER AN HOUR FOR OUR FOOD AND WERE THEN TOLD IT WAS ALREADY SOLD OUT BECAUSE OTHER CUSTOMERS WHO CAME AFTER US ORDERED WHAT WE ORDERED AND IT SOLD. LIKE WHAT!? HALF OUR TABLE ALREADY HAD THEIR FOOD AND FINISHED BY THE TIME WE WERE TOLD OTHERS WAS SOLD OUT. RIDICULOUS

If I could give this place 0 stars, I absolutely would! We got there at 12 when they opened, ordered and half of our table never got their food. It was around 1 when we questioned why and they said they had ran out of what was ordered. They NEVER notified our table so we sat there for an hour just waiting (they only had 2 people waiting on tables so we thought it was just busy). During that time, multiple tables continued to be sat and never got serviced either. We asked for the manager TWICE and he never got up from where he was sitting, which was behind the front counter instead of helping his poor employees when they clearly needed it. We decided we didn't wanna celebrate any longer and got up to pay.

At this point my grandmother was very upset and began telling THE MANAGER how she was very dissatisfied. The MANAGER then began to make excuses and yell at his employees in front of us when she made it very clear it wasn't their fault. He laughed it off and obviously wasn't listening to her. Once she walked away, he began making ugly comments towards her which made myself and my aunt jump in and tell him how unprofessional he was being. He kept arguing with us, laughed AT US and took ZERO accountability for the disaster that was going on in his restaurant today. Even his own cashier had to tell him to stop being ugly. The last thing he told us was to never come back which is kind of silly because why would we after that?

10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE UNTIL THEY GET A NEW MANAGER IN THERE.

‼️ DO NOT GO to Mesquite BBQ!!! We had the worst experience ever!!! Management was extremely rude, half our table never got their orders. Not enough help and taking orders when they can’t fill them. Waiting over an hr for food they knew they didn’t have. Why take our order and then, why make us think our food is coming?! Then….tell the customer that we are talking shit! WOW!! Just wow!! We all went in and excited to try a new place for Fathers Day and birthday celebration with a table of ten. Others walking out because they had the same experience! Not prepared for a busy day and a horrible management. Sat down and never got up to help anyone!! Uuggghhh okay. Rant over!!

We always go by & it’s never open. Is it really open for business or do they just cater? Very disappointing since there isn’t any other bbq place in town. Gotta go to Corpus for good bbq.
