I normally loveee this place and tell everyone about it Today I had a bad experience. I was craving my favorite place. I immediately went to the shelf and saw no large Dixie chick there were only two small. Ms Valerie asked and I wanted a large. She went to the shelf to get two small. She really tried to sell it to me even discount but I refused. She told the lady behind the counter what I wanted and she asked if there were two small salads to merge.. I made it known that I wanted fresh salad and not two salads from shelf. Ms Valerie even told me that the salad on the shelf is fresher than the salad on the line. She said salad on shelf expires 5 days and fresh salad on the line expires 6 days. The salad was merged anyways against my wishes
To there surprise I requested a new small salad. Their expressions changed because a new salad had to be made from the line as they merged the two old salads.
Im baffled by Valerie (shift leader) behavior). Not sure if her actions were a result of the fact it was almost closing and she had to empty the shelf...
Anywho it would be a concern if the chicken salad behind the counter is fresher then the salad which sits out all day on the shelf. Valerie is a poor representative of Chicken Salad Chick..What if I were a food critic or the health department?

Loved that chicken salad, especially the cranberry and basil! The cake was amazing, and the service was so friendly and helpful. We'll definitely be back to try more chicken salad and sandwiches.

I want to give a shout out to Jamie at the Kingwood location!!!! 5 stars for him!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ one of my chicken salad containers was accidentally left out of my pickup order. I called them when I got home. Jamie brought it to our home on his way home from work. I was amazed and so pleased. What a kind gesture. CSC has a lifelong customer here. Thanks Jamie. You’re the best!!!!!

Always a good experience. The white chocolate cake is the ONLY cake from anywhere that my kids actually enjoy (and us adults too!). You can buy a slice or a whole cake.
The food, service, and atmosphere are just horrid. I came in on Monday with my girls to get some lunch. We sat there at least for 15 minutes, and the food hadn't come out yet. Croissant was hard in most places. Employees were not like Chicken Salad Chick employees. Right after I left, I called the store and asked if there was some sort of option to get a refund for the horrible meal that I digested. The woman who answered had a bad attitude and proceeded to hang up in my face.

They have the best chicken salad. Well -besides my mom's homemade chicken salad!!!!!!great unsweet tea. I can't wait to try the new white chocolate cake.

This is my first time at The chicken salad chicken restaurant. They had lovely decor and a very nice atmosphere. Chris was my cashier and was the sweetest young man, and he was extremely helpful. My sister-in-law had the fancy Nancy sandwich, and I had the Turkey B.L.T. But I have to say their soups are probably the show stopper. My sister in law had their potato soup, and it was good, I had their chicken poblano soup, which was out of this world.
