I selected “curbside” online. There is no curbside, you just go inside to pickup, so may as well select pick up option on their website. The chopped brisket sandwich and potato salad was good. The chicken breast badly cut and was dry. I ordered half a pound of “jalapeño cheddar sausage” and received regular sausage. The “brisket chili frito pie stack” came in a container with Fritos and beans, no brisket so when I pointed that out during pick up the employee just threw a bunch of brisket on top. The “big yellow cup” was almost $4, yet they didn’t have any and I got two small clear cups. Both the sweet tea and unsweetened tea were not made right and very clear and didn’t taste good. The guy was nice enough but overall poor quality for $50 worth of food.

I was the only customer there at the time. The employee was very polite, considerate, and cheerful. I placed my order, and we had a nice conversation while he assembled everything. I got home and everything was exactly as I had ordered. Very good quality BBQ dinner!

This place has got an authentic southern aesthetic to it. The food is just too delicious! They also offer fried chicken sandwiches here. The lady on the counter was very kind!

Decided to buy dinner from Dickey's tonight since I was gifted a gift card. I had never been to the northpark location. Should have done my research before stopping by. The place was empty and the kitchen looked abandoned. There were no sides available but beans, coleslaw and potato salad. I asked for a Mega Potato and was told they were out of potatoes, I asked for mini sliders and was told they were out of mini sliders...I purchased a dinner plate and 2 kids combo plates. Chicken was so dry and stiff, my kids didnt eat it. Potato salad tasted old and not a good flavor. I was hesitant to try the beans. We ended up throwing the food away. Waste of money. Place should be closed down. Will never eat at this place again . 0 stars.

Person in Drive thru was extremely rude. They didn't have a majority of the sides that they offer, including fries, okra, and mac n cheese. They had been open for 2 hours already). The brisket sandwich was very dry and bland, including the bread. The drinks were flat and the coke was watered down. I don't know how a restaurant could be so bad and still be open.

2023 update: STILL NEVER RECEIVED MY REFUND -_-We placed an order online an Hr or so before closing May 17th 2021. When I never received an update on how my order was coming along I decided to call. When I called someone told me that had a busy day and had run out of food and that they could no fulfill our order. I was told that the owner was not in the restaurant, and would not be back for the day or the next but that someone would contact me. I continued to call and receive the run around about the owner saying he’s had emergencies and other things along with opening a new Dickys somewhere else but that my receipt was there and they would tell him as soon as they could. I called again the next week to be told that once again the owner was not there and how he is the only person who can issue refunds, but that now he knows and has taken my receipt to his home office to issue the refund. This was a week ago. We are now in the Month of June and I have yet to receive my refund. I’ve tried to handle this privately but that this point people should be aware of the possibility that they will not receive their money if the business runs out of food. If you cannot handle ONE. SIMPLE. REFUND because YOUR business was not prepared for the day than you should NOT be opening another restaurant. It’s very simple. I’ve expressed the fact that We do not live in the Houston area, being told if I did live in the area I could go get my refund. Absolutely Ridiculous! That is no way to treat customers or visitors of the area.So if the owner is not to busy to take a look at this review I will keep doing whatever I can to receive to money at this point I feel we are being robbed of. Dickys Northpark is not the place to go.

Meat was bland and greasy, bbq beans were ok, potato salad had no flavor.Try Papa's or Spring Creek Bbq for good bbq. Doubt I'll ever go back.

Worker was incredibly rude, no manners, and she seemed so bothered that we were there. Didn’t have much food available. Baked potatos were cold and nasty. French fries cold. Brisket sandwich was super dry and gross. I would not recommend this place to anyone! I don’t see how this place can stay in business!! First and last time here! Also, WAY overpriced for the food you can’t even finish because it’s absolutely disgusting.

On Monday, July 17th we had a catering order of 235 boxed lunches for our band students. We were excited to have a new BBQ place to try but within 6 hours, some students, directors, and some volunteers started getting sick and more fell ill toughout the night. Those tummy issues carried on to the following day and many students did not attend Band Camp the next day. I called the catering office on Tuesday to explain our situation but felt dismissed. The following day (Wednesday) I received a phone call from the manager of the Kingwood store who sounded angry for receiving an email about their food. I explained that a lot of our students got sick and stayed home from Band camp, and those that did come were having to go to the restroom quite often throughout the day. I was told that our catering order was made from the same batch of brisket as two other orders and that she had contacted those other two orders and no one had gotten sick there. I told her I couldn't explain it but that the truth of the matter was that almost half of our band got sick after eating their lunch on Monday. She told me she would talk to the owner and she would get back to me but I have not received a follow up phone call from her. I have called the catering department several time as well and have not received a follow up phone call from them either. I have also called the store but have been advised that the manager leaves at 3 pm so I haven't been able to speak to anyone. Not happy and will not use Dickey's BBQ again for our band students.

This place needs new management or close down. They never have what we want that is on the menu and the food just keep getting worse the tea is nasty with nothing but sugar. This is my second time going to this place and my last. Until it gets better I will be going to Papa’s B-B-Q instead.
