New ownership is awful. You'll get better food out of the frozen food section at Walmart!

I ate in here last week, at lunch, and the food was so fresh and so good. The Chicken Chow Mein was EXCELLENT, best I've had in 40 years, and I've been trying to find some to compare to what I used to get at this little restaurant in Laurenburg, NC in the mid 80s. The fried rice was great. The Orange chicken was really good. The service was by far the best I've had in Kingwood in many many years. The portions are good and prices are very fair. I am still craving the Chicken Chow Mein, so I just ordered some food for pickup. Will update with a pick up order review. I will definitely be back for lunch.

First time to order. I had the #23. It was fresh tasting, hot and enough for two to share. I will return at later date. Visiting family in Spring.

I've been giving here most of my life, but this decade only when I'm back in town for holidays. I was worried when I heard they changed ownership, but I went there and the food was as good as always.

It's a touch more on the traditional side than a lot of Chinese-American restaurants. I love the Sesame Beef, and if you're looking for something different don't sleep on the shrimp-stuffed eggplant.

Oldie but goodie!! In my opinion, the best Chinese in Kingwood/Humble area. Don't be fooled by its simple appearance! After moving from Houston, we struggled to find a Chinese place that stood up to our family favorite Kim Son, so we were thrilled to find this hidden gem. Our faves are chicken/beef on crispy egg noodles, Szechuan eggplant, and orange chicken. My kids love their fried rice, which has a delicious smokey flavor. They also give crispy won tons with sweet and sour sauce as a bonus appetizer- it's a mystery how something so simple can be so addicting.

My family, friends and I have been eating at Oriental Gardens for years. I just went to pick up 2 separate to go orders. $70 worth of food and I checked to make sure the soy sauce, sweet and sour and hot mustard were in the bags. I was told that soy sauce was provided but not hot mustard or sweet and sour. For some reason I was not given any hot mustard even when I asked and was told by the woman owner that 1 serving of sweet and sour sauce was available for $2. The food I ordered a few weeks ago came with the sauces at no cost but the food was surprisingly subpar. The new owners are about to lose a customer who has frequented OG for the last few decades. It’s a shame.

The worst Chinese food I have ever eaten. The sweet and sour pork was hard as rocks and the fried rice was nothing more than plain rice with soy sauce on it. I won't be back!

Oriental Gardens used to be so good. Things have really changed in the last few years. The last few orders Ive placed have been wrong or I have been missing things. I recently placed a to go order and I received my meals in small food prep containers. I was so confused thinking ā€œI did not order kids mealsā€ which, I did not. That is just how they do the go orders now. We were left disappointed and still hungry. My little baby meal was definitely not worth the price we paid. We don’t go into the restaurant anymore because it smells!

Used to be wonderful, yesterday we had lunch. The last lunch very bland and small portions with no meat.I think it might be new owners. The fried rice was just rice with soy sauce, no egg or onions or anything.

I eat here pretty often. I love their food it is so good!! It does seem tho when you sit down you get less food that’s why I always take my order to go, and they give me a lot of food for a good price. I’ve eaten at many Chinese restaurants and none compares to this one.! Oriental Gardens has my heart, plus when you walk in it is a spiritual persons dream they have Buddha statues and Chinese spiritual music playing, it is beautiful.
