This restaurant unfortunately is no longer open for business. I wish it would open again.

We stopped in La Grange for dinner on our way home and followed the recommendations we had from the internet for dinner. We stopped at Bistro 108, a small place located just off the main courthouse square. We were seated quickly and the restaurant was busy but not over crowded. There is a patio for dining in the back and many customers went there on this fine evening. Service was very good, with an attentive waiter. We had two full meals. The pecan crusted chicken was excellent, and what I took home was good the next day for lunch. The corn/poblano soup was really good and filling. My wife had the special, duck breast, which was also very excellent. Overall a very nice dining experience.

Good food, kinda pricey, but large portions! Fried chicken salad $16- probably got like 6, 7 decent size tenders! Cooked well, not oily. Lots of crispy bacon and fresh avocados. Very filling salad! Could probably be 2 meals, but I stuffed myself. Salmon salad- friend enjoyed it Complimentary bread & butter were warm and soft.

My husband and I recently stopped here for lunch at noon on a Saturday, and we barely got a table! There was a line out the door, and it's easy to see why. Their wines by the glass were impressive for a restaurant in a small town, and their food menu was extensive. My husband had the salmon sandwich and I had the minestrone and salad. Everything was fresh and delicious. The service was quick and attentive and the portions and prices were reasonable. This will definitely be my new go-to spot when we are in the area. So much better than the usual Mexican or BBQ places...though I'd never turn my nose up at those either! But Bistro 108 is nice for a change.

I was on an intense road trip, passing through one of my favorite towns of my youth. I hadn't been for decades, and a quick trip around the town center left me impressed with the growth. Art shops and great food establishments seem aplenty. I happened to land a parking spot in front of 108 on an empty stomach. The crawfish and shrimp bisque was phenomenal, a rich combination of flavors to energize any traveler. The accompanying bread had a nice, stiff texture without being chewy. I felt better immediately. For my mains, I asked for a Reuben. The ample sandwich was filled with goodness, although I found the corned beef a bit dry. More special sauce, which has a nice tang, would have been better. Never mind, though. I ate the whole thing happily. I grabbed a piece of cheesecake for the road and left a better man for the experience. Definitely a must when in Lagrange.

Been here several times and always enjoy the food. They always have some unique entree to try. Took my 92 year old Mother out for lunch. She wanted to go to something nicer than the usual places we go. Parking can be a challenge, and my Mother uses a stroller! Got in and it was a bit crowded, and it usually is. Fairly small place. Looked at the menu and Mom chose the jumbo fried shrimp. I got a Chicken Caprise. They initially bring a wonderful crusty bread with butter. I really like the bread. They brought our meal promptly. Moms jumbo shrimp were more medium to small and she had 6 shrimp. The batter was good and she was very pleased with the flavor. I'm not a chicken breast fan, but the order looked great with a side of broccoli and wild rice. The topping was finely chopped tomatoes, basil, olive oil with a hint of balsamic vinegar. The breast was so tender and most and the topping pushed over the top. Something I thought was not going to be good, was surprisingly wonderful. When I go back, I'll definitely order again. I just wish the portion was larger, but the meal as a whole was filling and I couldn't finish it all! Almost forgot, we had a shrimp crawfish bisque that was fair and Mom always wants something sweet so she chose a chocolate rum cake that was outstan

What a wonderful surprise in a podunk town. We ate at the Bistro because it was within walking distance of the RV park we were staying in. The owner greeted us and his lovely waitress, Stacy, took great care of us. She made us fabulous wine coolers after my husband described what we were looking for. That doesn't happen very often. The tomato basil soup was the best I've ever had. My husband ordered the pork and I ordered the chicken with mushroom gravy and we both loved our meals. The prices were very fair for the fantastic food. We both brought home enough to have a meal again tomorrow. The freshly made bread with butter is fantastic too. I can't say enough about this great restaurant where we would never have expected to find it.

Glad we stopped in. Lucky we got here by 6 cause by 7 it was full! The prices were acceptable. The salmon was a little dry but both mine & my husbands potatoes were amazing, he really liked his steak as well.

A group of grade school classmates from the 1950s met at Bistro 108 for a reunion and lunch. This restaurant was selected because of prior experiences and because La Grange was a convenient gathering point for folks driving from different parts of the state. The service was exceptional and the food was delicious. This restaurant, located adjacent to the courthouse square, does not have a parking lot, but parking spaces on the street are plentiful. We would certainly return to this wonderful restaurant.

This little cafe is worth visiting. The catfish was delightful. Lots of local support, so make a reservation.
