The sandwiches were made-to-order and were very tasty. In addition to food service, the shop is also a retail outlet for interesting wines from around the world.

Nice Lunch with tortilla soup and grilled cheese! I drop by here a lot and need to go back on the weekends more since I moved but the Grilled cheese sandwiches I have gotten here were great and so were the soups including tomato basil, chili and tortilla as well.

I'm guessing it was about 14 years ago i was in LaGrange working on addition to power plant. Star Bar was my wife and I place to go. From the first day till we left LaGrange the folks welcomed us. I would like to give a shout out to the butcher shop there also. Fantastic BBQ on Saturday but you better had gotten there early. I would enjoy retiring and settling there.

Great little beer joint. Beer is ice cold, there is a patio area in front. Lots of TV's for sports. Looks like a dive outside, but welcoming inside. Melanie, Becky and Sandra are the best!! Great for an ice cold beer in the afternoon!

I went to this bar to meet my new tamale lady. I got there before her so I went in to wait. I don't drink but there were several patrons in the bar. Everyone knew maria,( My new tamale lady) said if she said she would be here she would be. I was there about 15 minutes ahead of Maria. Everyone made me feel comfortable and treated me as another friendI was impressed with the cleanliness of the place. It felt as though I were with my family sitting in the living room and telling stories.

Great food especially chicken salad sandwiches. Staff was friendly and made our visit special. Will be back for lunch next time we’re in the area.

This is probably as good as it gets in the city. In fact, all alo g thud stretch of US 71 there arefew dining options--certianly no fine dining. This stop is for good lunch food--sandwiches and flatbread. They have soups and salads. All items are reasonably priced. Wine is available here, but there are only a few you recognize. The location is on the southeast corner of the square.

I needed a snack and a cool place to sit while waiting for family. I stepped into the cool air of the Bodega, discovered a great selection of items on the menu, and found a comfy seat. Yes, it's a wine market, but it also has a great menu of sandwiches, soups, and other tasty items. From my vantage point, I was able to hear other customers ask questions about the menu which made me want to order one of almost everything. The staff was friendly even when I asked prices on at least six different bottles of wine. I had the personal cheese board which was enough for a meal. Cheeses, crackers, fruit, and nuts all fresh and tasty. I will definitely be back next time I am in La Grange.

We had lunch at Bodega last week while camping in La Grange. We chose the Turkey Sandwich with Havarti Cheese and the Chicken Salad on Buttered Croissant. Both were delicious. We also enjoyed a glass of wine from a fairly large selection to choose from and bought a bottle to take with us. The staff is friendly and helpful. It is nice to have lunch and look out on the beautiful J. Riely Gordon Courthouse on the main square. We will definitely eat there again on our next trip to La Grange.
