We got come Kolaches, after my child needed to use their very clean/nice restroom. I didn't have high hopes, as it was almost 5pm and Kolaches are not my favourite. However, these were the best Kolaches I have ever had, and I've had a few. Highly recommend.

The bread and kolaches are very tasty, I think the only bad thing is that the cinnamon rolls are getting smaller

Exceptional light and fluffy kolaches they also have pig in the blankets and homemade breadDietary restrictions: Lmao if they have it I'm not aware of it! good home cooking ,I go for the Kolaches, pig in the blanket, homemade bread, pickled okra, butter bread pickles and one of the sándwiches from the kitchen. I drive there from Austin Texas for me it's worth the drive !

Nice little bakery and gas stop. We always stop at the one outside of Brenham and have liked it. Fresh bakery inside to get kolaches or if you're early in the morning breakfast large parking lot. Lots of gas pumps bathrooms are clean. OK selection of sodas only have diet Dr Pepper, and Diet Coke along with sugary sodas. Also, a gift shop that has kind of the same things that Buckys carries. A lot of home decor, knickknacks even some antiques.

It’s like an old fashioned Buc-ee’s. Gift section, hot deli and bakery. I got the honey bee roll which came out to be $3.40 with no tax.

I entered this business at 10:45am. The menu board showed that breakfast was served till 10:45. My order was refused because they were ready to serve lunch. The menu board now reflected that lunch would be available at 11:00am. I have been a frequent customer of this business, but that will no longer be the case. There are other options available in this area.

I got the smallest sandwich for the price. it was about $9 and very small, about the size of a white castle burger. My advice is to avoid them. What you get is no where near worth the money.

I’m not sure how you can rate this incredible little bakery anything less than 5 stars. For being inside of a gas station, let’s be fair and not judge amenities not related to the bakery. The kolaches selection is amazing and fresh, the desserts are equally fresh and amazing, and you have a menu to choose from if you don’t care for the ready made selections. There isn’t much to choose from around this area in La Grange and it’s nice that all of the locals we spoke with recommended it.

Weikel's Bakery is a excellent stop in La Grange TX I strongly recommend stopping on your to Austin TX or to Houston TX on hwy 71. So many things to choose from, my favorite is the blueberry kolaches. They're fresh and soft and melt in your mouth. They also have fresh Reuben sandwiches that's very flavorful and juicy. You will be happy you stopped , very friendly employees and very helpful.

I love stopping here whenever we drive to Houston. They have really good baked goods, especially their kolaches. The kolaches come in a wide variety of flavors. There are other snacks too you can buy for the road. The restrooms are also very clean too. A perfect pit stop for your road-trip!
