We were excited to get some good fried chickens but this was definitely not the spot to do so. The chicken was extremely greasy so much that the grease from them made our stomachs uneasy. The pieces of chicken were extremely small so the amount of chicken you were actually receiving wasn't very much. Plus with the chicken pieces being small it meant that there were small bones. It felt like when you eat fish and there are a ton of those tiny little bones that you have to pick out while you eat only they were tiny chicken bones. I would genuinely be concerned about a small child eating this chicken. On top of that there were still 3 small feathers on a chicken wing we got and the rolls seemed like something you would get cheap from a grocery store. Not bad but nothing special. As far as service, we ordered our food to go and had to wait for over 30 minutes for it to be ready.

Let me start by saying everything was cooked perfectly and the staff was very nice. When ordering, i was told the 10 peice meal came with a 4 oz side, which was basically nothing. It's just a gravy cup that wouldn't hold 4 pieces of okra. The price was reasonable but I need a bigger side than that. I'd rather pay more and good size side come with it. Usually, a meal that size would come with 1 pint of something. Ultimately, I just feel the menu needed work. As far as the chicken, it was cooked to perfection, and the tender size was excellent. However, it lacked flavor. It needed some spices in the batter. I really want them to get better because it had amazing potential, and I'd like to come back, but not if they don't add some flavor. Beyond flavor that's all I really have to complain about.

Traveling from out of town... ordered some livers and gizzard with gravy on the side...It was delicious... seasoned good, crispy, and fresh.

Despite the bad reviews, we decided to give this place a try. Long story short we should have listened to the reviews ? or also the face that we were the only customers seemed like.We ordered chicken with waffle and the waffle was not like pictured on the menu and did not taste like a waffle at all.We also ordered a spicy chicken sandwich that after one bite we couldn’t eat because it just did not taste good and same with the burger we ordered.Hopefully the quality of the food improves so that they can gain people’s trust again. But until then, we wouldn’t come back.
