Just left the concert at Lagoonfest and searched Google for something to eat nearby. Hangry Joe's was the first place that was on the list so we headed there. There was a drive-thru so we parked and reviewed the menu before getting in line. We decided on the Chicken (tenders) & Waffles with a mild spice level and the Combo #4 which was Wings and Waffle Fries with a drink. I selected the medium spice level.I must say that all of the food was good. The tenders were tender. Sometimes tenders can be a little dry, but these were not. The wings were nicely prepared and juicy. The waffle fries could have been cooked a little Ionger to get a little extra crispiness on the outside, but they were good. Oh my, I almost forgot about the waffles. Their waffles are superb and I'm going to leave it at that, OMG.We selected both the mild and medium spice just to see how spicy the food would turn out. There would be no need for me to go any spicier than medium and on any given day I would be fine with mild. The mild had that nice flavor profile while the medium had that little kick to it. This was our first visit and I would definitely go back. There was a little wait in the drive-thru, but the gentleman kept us informed the entire time about the delay. He also offered his apologies once he brought the food out. Great communication and accountability.
This was our first visitcto Hangry Joe's .... and it was amazing!! The staff is super friendly and helpful: they explained all the details about how spicy, spicy is :-) Also some information on the preparation. We had a good choice of our spiciness - being MEDIUM and that was goooooooooood!!! Yes you have to wait one or two minutes because the food is made freshly - but it's so yummy :-) Highly recommended!!

Stopped by for a quick lunch (drive through) and the guy that helped us was very sweet! I had a question about the pricing at the window and he didn’t mind double checking what we ordered and going over it with me. He asked if we had been there before and when I let him know it was our first time he gave us a discount and thanked us for stopping by. The food was DELISHHHHH and fresh and the service made it even better. Love!

The food is amazing very tasty and flavorful and the customer service is wonderful they are attentive and nice the cashier Jay is always nice and respectful.i really recommend this place to dine in ,it has a very relaxed atmosphere and it is decorated really nicely.
Underrated food. Sweet/nice smiling people working there.Messed up my order once out of 8 or 10 times. 2x dirty or not cleaned tables. But the chew is so good that I still have to give 5 stars anyway.

Me and my lady wanted some nice wings around texas city La marque area we ended up stumbling upon Hangry Joes chicken we moved here from New York and this is the best chicken we’ve ever had in our lives and thanks to Tim and his excellent customer service and great attitude what a great guy it made us want to return even more we live just down the street so it’s easy to come back see ya soon Tim !!!!!

I don’t understand the bad reviews, if you dont want heat dont here! My nephew and i both got the sando combo-mild. it does have a kick im a little sick and my nose ran but it was delicious! you get a great portion i couldn’t even finish it! the fries were crispy and seasoned perfectly! will definitely come back ?
