I always pass it up on my way to fish at the park, so had to try it. The portions are great, shrimp good, rice good, all in all a great place. And the sauce reminds me of canes! Will have to pay another visit next time I fish at Highland Bayou.

Man, say what y'all will, but I've only had positive experiences with this restaurant. Who would think that gas station fried chicken could be so tasty! Just finished off some fried wings, catfish, shrimp, and fried okra...plus a piece of strawberry cheesecake - yeah. Best catfish and chicken in town !!!

I went to buy a meal I bought that chicken tenders, fish and shrimp. It was advertised for 2299 on the menu when I got my receipt and I went to pay for it it was 2499. I asked the manager in charge if he can do something about it and he said no so I called the police and when they got there since the officer was the guys friend, she told me to go ahead and leave. That’s called false advertisement and extortion for money.

Food was great. I got the wings and combo fried rice and ate on it all day. It was fresh and the spice is in the rice! Customer service was good too. The cajun sauce with the wings was *chef’s kiss*. It was sweet and tangy. Definitely will visit again.

My husband and I were wanting fried chicken for lunch so we decided to try this place out. It was after the regular lunch hour rush but my husband waited at least 20 minutes before the order was ready but that just means we got fresh hot chicken. However, the fried okra and red beans & rice were luke warm. The chicken and red beans were bland. If that wasn't bad enough, we asked for 2 wings and 1 breast but received 3 wings. When I called to let them know, the excuse was the person taking the order didn't understand. Really!!! Maybe just maybe, that person had no business taking orders. We won't go back to any Louisiana Famous Fried Chicken & Seafood. Staff changes but the recipes don't.

If you want good ole fresh food This is definitely the place! Service is great and The store is very clean and maintained. I ordered some wings and I have to say I couldn’t wait to eat them when I got home so I ate them on the way. The young lady that works there her name is Heather and she was very polite and very professional. I love this place and love the service!
