Was disappointed, usually this place is right on the money great and delicious. Came in last week they were out of food. Came in today and options were limited and what they did have was dry and just not the quality this place in known for. The twice baked potatoes were under cooked the chicken and brisket was a bit dry. Hope this is just a bad few weeks. Brought family in from out of town to eat BBQ raved about it for days before we came and was quite embarrassed when we left.

Traveled back home to reconnect with family and introduce my children to their Southern Roots I. June of 2025. Texas Pits Stop Bbq provided the food for our family gathering in Galveston. The Bbq was good, the service and hospitality were Great.

We get BBQ every time we go to Galveston. This is the best bbq around. Don’t sleep on that twice baked potato! We even did catering for our wedding with pit stop. Love the food!

Hands down worst bbq I’ve had, brisket had zero flavor and was sliced super thin because it wasn’t tender. The pulled pork had no flavor whatsoever and was tough as leather. The “twice baked potatoes” were hard as a rock maybe half baked would be a better name for them. The Cole slaw was from days ago mushy and not fresh at all. The side of onions were soft and slimy as well. The sausage was not terrible and the mac and cheese was nothing special but edible. This was the Texas City location.

Always my go to for bbq. Celeste is the absolute greatest. I walk out if I don't see her. She always knows exactly what I want as soon as I walk through the door. She is the epitome of customer service. KEEP HER PLEASE!!!

Online website is antiquated at best, customer service leaves a lot to be desired. Asked about bread being in the togo order. Was bluntly advised bread was not included in my order. I pointed out that their online order site indicated 2 slices were free. The employee became defensive and said my order didn't include that. I stated that they needed to update their website. The receipt had the type of bread on it. Was finally offered bread. But then I just accepted it so I could leave the restaurant. In the grand scheme of things a few slices of bread are not a high priority. Online ordering needs to updated, customer service as well.

The staff is great in the place is definitely spotless. I came here for a super moist brisket. The flavor is great. The flavor on the ribs is great, but the brisket just wasn’t that moist melt in your mouth thing that I was looking for.

Just Left and Let me Say They Did Not Disappoint!!! Brisket, sliced sausage, And Potato Salad was so Good. The Fried Oakra was the best I've Ever had! Definitely will be back!

The lady on the phone said if I wanted to use my bank credit/debit card for curbside pickup I would have to come inside to pay. That defeats the purpose of curbside pickup. No other restaurant in La Marque has ever done this to me. I will not be coming back for curbside or dining inside.

Gave 2 stars only because the lady who took my order was really nice. That's where my compliments have to end. I was hoping Texas would show me the great BBQ I've always heard about. That did not happen. Brisket was dry and had no flavor. Ribs were cooked ok, but again, no flavor. No smoke and no seasoning. Pulled pork had lots of sauce so I really couldn't taste anything but the sauce. Also had greens and potato salad with no seasoning.
