I came in for the first time tonight. The bartenders were attentive and friendly, the service was excellent. I started visiting with other patrons but ended up leaving due to racist remarks by a couple of men at the bar. I confronted the situation, explaining how it was inappropriate and their jokes were not funny. I was told that I wasn't able to take a joke. I closed out and left. What an utter disappointment! The bar seemed fun and the music was great. Too bad the few I met were "racist" by their own admission. It left such a bad taste that I would never return to that establishment.Warning ⚠️ to those that do not entertain that kind of thing. It really was sad because that interaction colored my entire experience.

Road trip to Dripping Spring from Houston to watch grandson play baseball, to celebrate a win we decided to stop in for barbecue. We ordered brisket(very flavorful and tender), jalapeño cheddar sausage( no complaints from the wife) fries( plenty with a nice touch of season) , mustard potato salad (thumbs up)and for dessert apple pie and banana pudding( preference for me was the banana pudding).Service and Staff were great! Thanks Bill for having us we will definitely be back!

6/20/21VETERANS NOT WELCOME. I have no choice in sharing my experience. I was honorably discharged 47 years ago from the Army. In all my travels I have never heard a negative word about my service, until about three years ago. Basically an old crank accused me of stolen valor in that I was way too young to have served during the Vietnam Era. I typically allude to my service only when I want to date myself or as a shared experience with another vet. I served only stateside so I can't say there was any valor in my service. It's nothing I trumpet. Listening as this old crank very loudly interjected, so most of the bar could hear, that I was a lying sack of!$#$$ and much more. Everyone was rather amazed but what I didn't know is that the bar manager likes this guy. Ahhhh then I understood. Sadly this has been ongoing for three years. My fellow veterans have asked 'why is he still alive?' Easy. Am I duty bound to myself to end up in jail for possibly a very long time? When I engage I have difficulty stopping. Additionally this guy has a classic case of 'short man's disease, a blackout drinker that has been thrown out by every bartender that works there and he hates himself. He's abusive to to other patrons that are regular's as well. When he's spewed to me, every time the manager has simply watched, letting this guy yell and rant ad nauseum with not a word from the bartending manager. Does he want a barfight? He's a fool and spineless. Do my fellow veterans want to support this with patronage? It's up to you. The absentee owners of this place simply have no idea what's happening in their business. The rest of the staff have been great but sadly they have the yoke around their neck of this guy 'running' the bar.
