BBQ Brisket Sandwich with a side of baked beans. The brisket was sliced thick and stacked high, with just the right amount of sauce. The brisket was moist it literally melted in my mouth. So Good!!! This was my first time eating at Kings, but it definitely won't be my last.

Atmosphere is great whenever you eat inside, however, I can usually only go to the drive thru as I don’t have time to sit and eat. The last 3 times I’ve come, something has been left out of my order. I never drive off, so I always have the chance to run inside and grab what I need, but it wastes time especially during lunch hour. I wish the bags were double checked before going out. I can’t imagine how many people this happens to that drive all the way home just to realize something is missing.

I ordered a turkey SANDWICH. I requested sandwich bread instead of a hamburger bun. My order was an online to go order so when I got back to my office I opened the bag and I had a to go box with 6 small slices of turkey and ice cold french fries. There was NO bread of any type in the bag. I called the Laporte store and advised that I ordered a sandwich and didn't get a sandwich. She said because I requested sandwich bread and they didn't have any. I told her I wanted a sandwich so if the bun was all they had I would have taken it had they told me upon pickup. She advised she was just the cashier and basically, oh well. This was my first time eating here and likely my last. This is completely unacceptable. I wasted $17.60 on a lunch I can't even eat because the fries are inedible and well, the turkey was chewy and squeaky. I will gladly bring it back when I get off work for a refund. The pictures below, as well as the poor quality of the food I received, is what I paid $17 for. Wow!

Absolutely disgusting. Food was dry and flavorless. Not greeted whatsoever. Mac and cheese looked like plastic 0/5 don't recommend.
Was in La Porte TX, had a taste for BBQ and decided to visit King’s BBQ. There was off street parking and the restaurant personnel greeted us when we entered the restaurant. There were numerous options on the menu including chicken, steak and of course BBQ ribs. I went with 3 bones and a ¼ chicken. My dinner guest went with pulled pork place with okra and another side. My ribs were flavorful, tender and tested great with their BBQ sauce. While I found the chicken to be a bit dry (I selected the leg quarters that were sitting under the heat lamp), they were okay when using King’s BBQ sauce. My dinner partner enjoyed her pulled pork, but didn’t really care for the side. But to be honest, when I go to a BBQ joint, I’m there for the BBQ…sides just get in the way! Overall, I would recommend King’s for the meat and great service!
