I found this place searching for food near me on Google Maps. I got the schnitzel sandwich with Swiss cheese and German potato salad. Both items were excellent. The pork was fried perfectly and not dried out like some places. The seasoning was great on it also. I normally am not a fan of German potato salad, but this one was really good. I'd recommend both items and plan on going back to try more things.
Took the wife for a Deutsch dinner date night, had the best Jager schnitzel, german potato salad and red cabbage since coming to Texas! Wife had the curry wurst, pommes frites and German cheesecake, loved every bite. Will do it again ??

I've had nothing but hot fresh delicious oversized meals from Mel's! Everything she prepares is awesome. Best burger in the area! Brats and sauerkraut!!! Pork schnitzel sammich!!
