We’ve had some mixed experiences here. Service really depends on which server you get. A couple of them are fantastic, very attentive, efficient, and make the experience enjoyable.
Unfortunately, consistency has been an issue. Today, our server took our order and brought drinks but never checked back in. We had to flag someone down just to get the check, and there was confusion about what we had ordered. The inside of the pancakes was undercooked, but we couldn’t get it addressed because no one checked in after the food arrived.
We’ve also noticed some pushback when requesting a specific server. It seems like the manager doesn’t take those requests seriously, even though they are based on past positive experiences.

To start, this place is right out of the movies, with a quiet, calm atmosphere, I have tried most of their menu and truly believe they are incapable of making anything less than a masterpeice, the chuck steak with mashed taters and gravy and some green brens and a side salad and a fresh cold ice tea. Ohhhh boy .and cheaper than chick filla, for a family of 4 anyway.. just like grandma use to make , old school, old town good old nostalgia dripping from the walls of this place, if you try it once ,I promise you ll be a regular .

Cute little laid back place . Country fried steak was a big portion and tasted good . The Texas Patty melt was okay , James st lacked seasoning . There was no flavor to the meat or onions .

We've been there a few times based on friends' recommendations...and we weren't disappointed. Various breakfast and lunch selections were tasty and the service was good. We'll definitely go again.

This was our second visit. We went back because the sandwiches were good. I had a Reuben on this trip, my previous trip was a Patty melt. Both were really good. The prices are good the services good and quick. It's a little bit out of the way but worth the drive over

Nice little hole in the wall. Arrived at noon ~ seated right away. Huge menu. Breakfast all day. Loaded fries ~ so yummy yummy!! Real bacon, green onions, jalapeños, cheese. Bacon crusted chicken salad with honey mustard ~ nice. Taco Salad ~ DELICIOUS. Meat had a different yummy delicious flavor. Saw someone getting a Montie Cristo Sandwich ~ OH 👀 ~coming back tomorrow. Cowboy Montie Cristo ~ HUGE and Ph so good. Hush puppies have corn in them.
