We decided to change up our Fat Tuesday plans and make reservations at Mrs Livelys! We are SO glad we did! The food was the best I have had in the metroplex for Cajun! We had delicious hurricanes and met some great people! Good ole New Orleans music and even a little parade around the restaurants! We cannot wait to go back!
I visited this incredible Cajun spot yesterday, and let me tell you, the gumbo was off the charts! Every bite was packed with rich, deep flavors—the kind that hit all the right notes. The owner was super friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. You can tell he truly cares about the food and the customers. And I have to give a special shoutout to the jalapeño ranch—it was amazing. Perfect balance of heat and creaminess, I couldn’t get enough of it!...
Great customer service & even better food . I look forward to their catfish every year at the Illinois State Fair ! With the owners recipes being handed down from his grandma & mom . Those ladies definitely knew what they were doing in the kitchen . 10/10 highly recommend!! If you see them don’t hesitate stop and try , you won’t be disappointed!
