The Birria Tacos and the Wings are pretty damn good. In a city where you can’t really find much real food, and definitely not healthy food, at least you want your splurging to be actually good. And the Wings and Tacos are great. The whole vibe is relaxed, easy going, and bilingual if you speak Spanish and English, so overall a nice relaxed spot with a patio!

Awful experience… bouncer decided to splash bleacher water all over us due to a table above us having puked all over the table in front of us. I confronted him asking why he didn’t ask us to move before he didn’t to splash us with bleach water and his response “bro I can kick you out”… don’t worry “bro” I’m leaving

Bodega is the bar sharing the building with Big Backz, the kitchen. We had lunch and the food was delicious. The portions were very generous and the price fair. We sat outside in with our dogs. There is also a play area for families with kids. Any time I want chicken wings in Lake Jackson, Big Backz is where we will go.

I bought a 4 dollar beer waitress kept 10 bucks, brought me change of 6 dollars. Poor service. Contacted manager never contacted me back. They're busy miss handling money 💰. Waitresses are crooked. I won't be visiting again. I wonder who else has been given incorrect money. 🤔 right before ending her shift. I wouldn't recommend

Went there for lunch with my son and brought chikfila for him because that’s what my son wanted, waitres said very rudely “we serve kids meals too and you can’t bring in outside food” and said she was gonna let it slide this time. Brought us our drinks carrying the cups under/near her armpit. Ended up leaving because no thank you. First and last time we go here.

The 3 crunchy tacos is a must.... Buffalo wings are amazing the french fries are so Krispy.. ice cold beer... The music here is great... Met the owner ..he is so friendly... The staff are amazing!!
I just ordered Barria tacos through Door Dash and was very disappointed. Thier was supposed to be 4 tacos. I got 3. They were a brown/black color and looked reheated. And no flavor. I also ordered the trio dips. Sigh. Just as bad. The salsa was very watery. Felt like they took a can of Ro-tell and gave me that. And no flavor. Guacamole was basically just chopped Avocado, onion and some tomato. That's it! No seasoning. And quesso was somewhat passable. But cool. Had to reheat. Chips stale. Very disappointed. I haven't been to this place since before when it sold sandwiches which I liked. But they closed down for awhile and reopened but with different food. Thought I'd order online and try them because I love Barria tacos. Very unimpressed. I should have taken a picture of them when I opened the box but didn't. Was hoping it would taste better then it looked. It wasn't. So just ate it because I was hungry. But will never oder again. I miss the old place. Thier sandwiches and desserts were pretty good.

Got street tacos and they were very very very disappointing they were cold ice cold we ordered one order of fries and got 3 and they were hot. The margaritas was all flavoring. And the worse part is no one was in there there were like 4 people there besides the staff. Horrible horrible she did take off my tacos but everyone's tacos were cold. She even told us they were just sitting there. Don't recommend this place to no one

Our first time in since they reopened and wow! The interior is spacious and leans in to the history of the building. The food was great. The pulled pork sandwich was delicious and a very generous sandwich. My partner loved his burger as well. The service was very good. We sat at the bar, and the bartender graciously made me a cranberry and soda when I didn't want a standard non-alcoholic drink. (Hubby did a draft Shiner. They also have a variety of cocktails.) We'll definitely be back
