During our visit, I paid $8 for my young son to enjoy the bounce house. As instructed, I put on the required socks for him, though I was still holding his wristband in my hand. While he was jumping, the manager, Benny (or Benito), entered the play area to question whether I had paid. I showed him the wristband, and he replied, “Just checking.” I let it go, assuming he was simply doing his job.

However, moments later, when my niece attempted to join the bounce house, I went to the front to pay for her. Before I could return with the wristband and socks, Benny rushed over and immediately told her to exit the play area, stating that the socks she had on were not Chuck E. Cheese-branded and therefore a safety issue. Again, I respect the rules and complied without complaint—but his approach was unnecessarily abrupt.

What truly concerned me was the pattern that followed. When a group of African American children from out of town entered the bounce house, Benny sprinted toward them in a way that felt overly aggressive—and was super unnecessary, telling them they needed to leave. There was no compassion in his words or demeanor. In contrast, when a Caucasian
family allowed their grandson to enter the same area without a wristband, Benny calmly approached the grandparents, politely pointed to the rules, and asked them to visit the front counter. The difference in tone and approach was stark and troubling.

Why weren’t we afforded the same respect? Why approach Black children with aggression while treating others with kindness and patience? That double standard is at the heart of my concern.

When we first entered the facility, Benny insisted we stamp the left arm specifically—something he said was mandatory. But oddly, when we were leaving, he didn’t even check that our stamps matched for safety. He kept citing “liability” as the reason for his hypervigilance—but that vigilance only seemed to apply when watching over the Black families in the room.

My issue is not with enforcing rules—it’s with how those rules are enforced inconsistently and with bias. As customers, we were polite, respectful, and compliant. Our children were well-behaved and simply having fun. Yet we were made to feel like we were doing something wrong. That is not how guests should be treated.

The manager Benny’s customer service is terrible and talks to the guests like he is doing us a favor for “letting” people visit this establishment. Benny, YOU need to treat ALL guest with respect and kindness.

I called to file a complaint Tuesday 7/1/2025 and still have not received a call back to address my concerns. The voicemail said I would be called back within 48 hours…

Kids birthday party and we were there 2 1/2 hours. The new trampoline section is cool, but it is expensive $12 a kid unless you do the $99 kids bday party, than it is $5 a child. Salad section was very good.

I like taking my kids but not a fan that when my daughter is on the schedule for certain hours she is then told to wait and not clock in or to clock out mid shift because its between parties. Doesnt seem legal to make her sit there unpaid when shes on the schedule. Its a w2 hourly position, not 1099.

I've been coming for almost 3 years now. Same happy manager, consistently warm and friendly, always gives my wife and kids a warm greeting. Love bringing the family here because of this manager's attention to detail with his staff!

The staff at this location is great, and the food is usually fine. I just wish they had a bit more space to add more games.

This Chuck E. Cheese is a little smaller then others I have been to and there is no play place like there are at others. The pizza is okay, I wasn't a fan of the cheesy bread. It had a funny taste to it. There are an okay amount of games. Maybe 20-25. Overall, for being in Lake Jackson, a smaller population area, it's pretty decent and one of the few things dedicated to kids.

This has a mix of games. The food came out very over cooked. My daughter said she did not want to go back to this one. She was not into the older setup. Overall the place was nice. I did not bring up the over cooked food. They had two birthday parties and just there for one time.
