Great service and the food was good. We had skillett fryed fajita for lunch price. Unfortunately we found out that they are going out of business at the end of the year. They were bought out :( ?

Cavendars had so many options but no they got in with the mall and are causing El Chico to close their location. I promise I will never set foot in Cavendars when they open and I am done with Brazos Mall too. I was diagnosed with Celiac disease in 1997 and El Chico was the only restaurant i felt comfortable eating at. I have been eating at different El Chico restaurants for 65 plus years. The El Chico Restaurant in Lake Jackson is absolutely the best restaurant I have ever eaten in! Bruce, the manager, is beyond tremendous. I have moved to Colorado Springs about 8 years ago and The El Chico Restaurant is what I miss the most about moving. I would give a lot if Colorado Springs had an El Chico Restaurant with Bruce as manager. I was shocked when I heard, yes … all the way up here, that Brazos...
