Place was not same as i remember. Fish and popcorn shrimp were good. Gumbo was chalky and had an off flavor. Was not busy, but took long times to get things line ticket and refills.
The fried shrimp was overcooked. They were hard and crispy. The bowl of gumbo was cold. I have eaten here before and it was wonderful. That is why we drove over an hour to enjoy it again.
Good shrimp and fish. A little disappointed in the crab cake but won't stop me from rerurning.. Very reasonable price. Crawfish boil looked awesome as did the gumbo. I will try them next time i am in Freeport. Very friendly folks.
