The service was terrible. Not only did my family and I wait for a very long time to get our food but we had to wait an extra 20 minutes for the to go order, after we were done eating, that was not put in with the rest of the food. Then after waiting an absurd amount of time for my to go order I come to realize it’s not even the right taco. I asked for potato, egg, cheese, and bacon. Instead I got egg, cheese, potato, and bean. I’m not sure if we just went on a bad day but I do not think we will be returning.

I recently tried Nena's in their new location. The atmosphere was pleasant and inviting with the decor, lighting, and music. The service was decent, though not particularly memorable. While the food was overall average, the portions felt a bit small for the price, especially compared to their previous location. My to-go order (pictured) for $13+ tax barely satisfied my appetite, leaving me still hungry afterwards.

I went today for lunch, the ladies said hello. 2 tables had people. I sat at table 3. Watched 1 lady doing something at the cash register. One of the ladies was showing the other something on a phone. I know i didn't wait real long but with no one coming over to see what I wanted, I left. And I Love this place, have been eating at Nena's for a long time. Have always had good experience here.

I had a great lunch at Nena’s! I love that they serve breakfast options during lunch, which is perfect for me. I ordered an egg, potato, jalapeño, and cheese omelette, and it was absolutely delicious—flavorful and perfectly cooked. The portion size was generous, and I appreciated getting two sides with it. The staff is friendly, and attentive, which made the experience even more enjoyable.

Slim pickings for taco in LJ and Nenas have seemed to have taken advantage of that unfortunately. Service is lackluster tacos ok for the price point and overall a miss for me. Mendozas I miss you and your tea! Your better off buying their tortillas heading home buy ingredients and cook don’t forget be kind to yourself.

One of the top go-to spots for mexican food/breakfast tacos in LJ. Always fresh and delicious. We got the original hippo taco and a bean, bacon, cheese taco. I ate my hippo taco too fast before I thought of taking a picture, like usual. They're always so friendly and I will always support Nena's!

The food was amazing! Affordable! Good amount of food for the price! Owner is the sweetest person. Home made tortillas🩷 Guisada was amazing (which is hard to find). Heard great things about the breakfast here, can’t wait to try. Will 100% be back!!

To say I was disappointed is an understatement. I was so looking forward to having breakfast at Nena's. SO DISAPPOINTING! the beans, tortillas were cold and the potatoes were so dry and shriveled up more like dehydrated potatoes. Our waitress was not friendly my partner tried joking with her, but no go. For the prices that we as customers pay for the food, should be a little bit more appealing than what we got.

Came there today at 9:51 am , ordered ONE taco. Walked out at 10:35 . Place was half full and they said they’re busy. Disappointed in the service. Especially since I was one person and ordered one taco. Prioritize business and get people In and out.
