The food was great. The service was slow and the guy server seemed high. He was walking around our group saying who has the fries? But then he wouldn't pay attention to the people telling him where it went and have other people in the group some of three fries and then almost walked away with the fries. He was really silly. But we did have a big group and everyone seemed to get the right food. And the food was delicious!But they were out of meatloaf and it was only 5pm. They obviously just didn't make any.

The waiter was obviously smoking something extra on his cigarette break. Half the table ordered medium rare steaks when he brought them out he didn't know which was which. Then he said "to be honest they are all medium but we get them right." Then he just stood by the table staring off into space. Definitely an experience. Food was great!

***Apparently the FOH is the chef/owners husband.Came here tonight (9/29/23) the FOH manager was busy telling all of his personal business to this one table. Ot was only him and Tina working. As the for never acknowledged anyone else in the restaurant, I asked Tina to please be our waitress.The restaurant did not have their bread. The menu they offered was significantly smaller than it had been and half the items on it were not available.I can understand food items being limited but the for behaving as he did was completely unacceptable.Poor Tina was the only person actually working and taking are of customers.

We’ll it’s been a few years since we have visited it was Cafe Anince last time we were there we were the only customers. They locked the door after we were seated Then Took 45 mins to get what we ordered which was overcooked runny and not edible the Waitress then said manager said we’re not going to open for lunch after we ordered y’all can leave if you want. I asked her why she didn’t say that when we walked in ?? And seated us. We’ll that ruined us never going back

Roaches!!!!!My best friend wanted a small 12 people get together after their wedding vows so table 24 at 11am was perfect. 8 people ordered the chicken shrimp pasta dish, chicken fried chicken, 1 stake and 1 jambalaya. It took 1.5 hours for food to come out and there was literally only 1 other table there with 5 people. The noodles were so soggy that the dish almost looked like mashed potatoes. After food came out, was told they were out of French fries and green beans.The bride and groom precut the cake so we could eat dessert after lunch and mid way through eating, we noticed roaches crawling off the wall onto the cake slices. No matter how small the wedding occasion, this was a wedding cake!!! We thankful set aside the top layer of the cake for their (1year anniversary). I couldn't finish my meal after this a asked for the owner. The bill for the meal was $350 but the owner took off $60 for the ruined cake. Thanks.... ???

Absolutely shameful service, my son took his girlfriend to Table24 for Homecoming. After talking with them they said the food was amazing, but the service was absolutely terrible. They told me how the waitress with a lot of tattoos (so you know who it is) took our order for an appetizer and disappeared, then after a long wait finally came back with it and disappeared again. Then they had to wait again to order their food. They had to ask a waiter for more water and tea because their waitress never came back.I asked if it was real busy and my son said not really, about half the tables were empty.Whats bad is my other son had the same experience at Table 24. When he took his girlfriend there. I was sure hoping it would not happen again but I was wrong.I guess they see young adults and think they will not tip so why even work.Well here is a tip, I teach my kids the importance about tipping and we tip very well for good service, but if it’s terrible service then give a tip on that service.Whats also bad is I was there for Mothers Day, and not only was it terrible service by the Manager, she over charged me 40 dollars and I asked to have it refunded and all I was told is the owner had to do it. Well after 2 additional trips to get the refund and being told the same thing, I just gave up on it.But you can guarantee me and my family will NEVER EVER walk in that place again! What an absolute shame.

Staff is extremely courteous but a serious overhaul of their order system and kitchen needs to be done. I came with a group, and placed my order at the same as all the others. Not only was my order finally given after everyone else had eaten and had their dishes removed. It was not even what I ordered! Since I was starving and others in my group were leaving. I just took the loss b/c I'd likely still be waiting if I sent it back. I got the food boxed up and left as well. The place has potential as a small business but needs a better serving system and/or improved management.

The food here was amazing- the best we've had in Lake Jackson, no complaints whatsoever. However, the service needs quite a lot of work which was quite disappointing for the quality of our meals. To add insult to injury, a $10 bottle of Sauv Blanc (Chateau Ste Michelle at HEB) was marked up to $14 a glass and without a wine list it felt a little predatory. A 700% markup? Come on. I'm hoping the service was a fluke and will improve soon.

Chef Yari is amazing! Her dishes are divine! She takes good care of us and always makes a vegan dish out of this world whenever we ask! This place is a gem ?!!

Once seated the wait was 23 minutes before someone came to the table. It wasn't even a waitress, it was the man behind the bar. We ordered simple wine and they had neither. Ordered a simple margarita and that wasn't made correctly had to send it back. It took a half hour before we got our drinks. Still no waitress ever came to the table. She walked around smelling the roses they put on the tables while talking to customers about the roses?♀️. The food was subpar and very small portions for the price. The mashed potatoes were boxed flakes, no joke! For $40 a plate I expected real potatoes. I've had great experiences here before but the service and the food has really taken a turn for the worse.

Steak for team members was cold. 4 steaks were sent back to the kitchen. Disappointing when you have to cancel work meetings and the food as well as service is poor.

Wow - this is one of my favorite places that somehow self destructed. There’s so much wrong in this visit it’s pathetic. The bar was deficient in liquor choice, there was no wine list and the server went right to getting our entrees without bothering to ask about appetizers or explanation of anything. I think it was because she and two other server were watching TV - a Star Trek or something movie that was blasting. They were sitting and watching and glued to it. In fact after diners at another table left, their table wasn’t even cleaned until the movie was over. We received our meals timely. The tomahawk pork chop was tough and not even tomahawk. See photo. The Carmelized onions tasted only of red wine. The vegetable plate was predominately mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts. The corn tasted process and asparagus was laughable as was the spinach. At $21 it was sad. Photo attached with chicken whited out. For an additional $7 Im glad I added a chicken breast which was very fresh but very heavy with a flavor of either old or not to heat oil. The once offered panko crusted chicken was a star and a wonderfully light recipe compared to the refried chicken. Light is what you want when you order a main course of vegetables. I don’t know what’s happened to this restaurant but for the money I can sit in a bar, watch TV and get better food and liquor of choice. Wing Stop with the veggie sticks is hands down superior to this dinner. The food can be fixed but having a TV on to begin with ruins any idea of having anything but a regular meal. We overheard other diners mention it as well. Pair that with servers that were immersed in it was irritating. Table 24 violated the tune of success by being inconsistent and subpar on every level.

We had been looking forward to checking the so called fine cuisine. I ordered a ribeye medium. It was undercooked with no flavor. I was totally disappointed and the whole experience. The music was to loud and to go containers where cheap. We won't be back.
