Service was great, even for our larger party.
Great food, I am usually a ribeye person, for marbling, but the filet was much better.
Neat setting. Quite expensive
My wife and I ate dinner at The Local, which is quite different from eating lunch there as far as the menu. I had the crunchy wasabi salmon with flavorful mashed potatoes and fresh green beans. My wife had a grilled chicken salad. I had a black current tea, but sometimes I get one of their selection of beers. There's quite an array of dessert options displayed when you walk in, though we were to full partake.

Great food and a nice atmosphere! The roasted pork on the Cuban sandwich made it delicious. Highly recommend!
Hamburger and home made potato chips are the best

A restaurant that stops serving dinner at 8?
The Local made reservations for our Brazosport graduates of 1963. They served food that we chose individually, and they provided drinks to our liking, and a welcoming, friendly atmosphere! Thank You! Vickie V. Symington

So I ordered and the food was okay, but it was a misunderstanding about the drinks, I ordered two hot coffees and I received two iced coffees. I went to the counter to ask why and it was this manager with her attitude, she changed me the drinks BUT she still was rude, then I asked for my refund because each of the iced coffees were like 4 dollars more than the regular ones, she said she did it but today I'm still waiting for my refund. Never coming back again.
