Only went here because of the reviews the rice was so plain and try and I ordered spicy it’s wasn’t anything spicy about the rice please don’t waste your time ! Will be posting on my tik tok .

The wings are nice in size and the best thing that I ordered, I’m not in love with the oily sauce but they were cool. The fish was a no for me I don’t know what kind of catfish it is but mushy, greasy, and tasteless is what I got. The fries were the worst part of the order they tasted like freezer burn I think they are old

Can’t go wrong here

I have not dined in at Dan’s so I cannot speak to what many of the questions ask. However, I frequently order their whole Catfish dinner and I usually get a side of hush puppies, coleslaw and banana pudding. This order is always absolutely delicious!
It’s hard to find bone-in catfish cooked just right but Dan’s does it.

The food is good but I personally love the crawfish. I started eating the crawfish 2024 season, and this was maybe my 5th visit of the 2025 season & today they got me with a batch that was very obviously frozen or already cooked and just reheated. It tasted rubbery and was cold on the inside and I was thinking maybe they are frozen because they’re out. So I asked if they no longer had live crawfish because mine was cold on the inside and was told that all of the crawfish was live. I’m a little disappointed because this was my fav crawfish spot and I know for a fact that I had reheated crawfish. I also eat other food here a lot too. Overall food is good tho, I just wish they would have told me up front that the crawfish would be reheated, I would’ve just got something else.

To put it simply, this place was great. Every order is cooked fresh. The catfish was REAL catfish and not swai or basa. The lady at the counter was super nice and attentive. The shrimp were huge and everything was very reasonably priced. I will definitely be back
