Food was decent at best, I ordered the Baked potato turkey leg, and rib sandwich. The ribs were tough and and flavor was not there at all. The baked potato was ok, not much cheese, no bacon bits like they said it came with and the brisket I ordered in it, was bland.

I have tried to order the east Texas hotlinks for 3 weeks now 2x a week and my order gets cancelled every every time. I wish I had time to come down but I'm working I'm so disappointed.

I brought my mom to eat at this restaurant and there was mold on an item that was pre-packaged (cake daddy cakes). I reported it to the owner. I gave the benefit of the doubt because the expiration date had not passed yet so it could’ve just been an issue. I come in again to order the chopped beef sandwich right at opening. I was the first customer. I received my order. Checked the order and there was mold on the bread. The owner offered to replace the item but all bread was molded. The owner was apologetic and asked me to come back and she would fix it but I no longer could trust the food or the establishment.

I took turkey to have smoked, I came back to pick up waited 15 minutes to be waited on, The lady behind counter very rude, I ask for peppers and was told they are not required to order them. They don't speak, it's always an attitude with this place. Won't be back I spend close to 100.00 to be treated like crap. They need to get rid of everyone up there.

The food is so good here, they have ribs, brisket, links, they have sides, baked potatoes, drinks, cakes, pies. It's family owned and a little small, but they have all the comforts you need under one roof. It's a little pricey, but if you decide to eat here you will be back.

When you walk in no one greets you I ordered a rib sandwich and a chop beef which most places don't mess up a chop beef, the ribs were burnt and tasted like they were boiled. Also, the chop beef was so dry It scratched my throat as it was going down. So sadly to say I will not return back to this place again

I ordered two dozen East Texas hot links and a Rib sandwich and got a small amount of crackers and when I asked for hot sauce she looked like I was speaking another language! Napkins are useful also
The fact that I checked TikTok reviews and said ok majority are all good let me drive over 30 minutes away to get it to only sit down for about 5 minutes a few bites and then left. SMH this food was terrible. Normally (anywhere I go) get my sauce on the side well I forgot to ask and instantly when I opened the potato I knew they put all that freaking bbq sauce to cover up the horrible meat. The chop beef was old and that’s sad seeing how I went around 2pm and they had just opened at 1. Then to tell me you only have chopped and no sliced well maam don’t you slice it before you chop it…but I digress. I get mom and pop but it was just tooo dingy feeling. Kids laying on the floor kids in the back running around. She put so much butter on the potato it was basically mashed potatoes. I always go and me n my husband always get a 2 meat plate and he put yall on his do not go back list after yesterday and he loved yall bbq we always spend well over 50 bucks and the meat wasn’t hitting yesterday 😩it was over cooked and tough and the potato salad had big chunks of potatoes on it overall its was disgusting 🤮 like there was no love in it ANYWAY VERY DISAPPOINTING SO WE WILL NOT BE GOING BACK BUT THE MACNCHEESE IS ALWAYS 10/10 oh he got ribs/sliced beef and I got sliced beef and sausages

I was disappointed with the plain baked potato. It was dry with very little dressing. There was no cheese, no butter and was just bland. It had a few chives. Basically it was not worth the money. The ribs had no barbecue pit taste. They tasted like they were boiled and put on a stove pit to brown. I had been there before about 6. -9 months ago and it was good. Seems like they cut corners. I won’t patronize anymore. Waste of good money and time.
