“I'm from Brooklyn, a cook, a foodie and a super trucker so I know good food and where to get it in all 48 states Canada and Mexico so I think all of that makes me a self proclaimed food expert. Here's my take on Taste of Jamaica. I got the curry Goat rice and peas and cabbage. The goat was definitely fall of the bone and melt in your mouth, a little lite on flavor from what I'm used to but it was still good not great but good, the rice and peas was great and the cabbage with the mixed vegetables in it was different I like where the cook was going with it but it could have used a little seasoning on it. I will go back and try the ox tail and leave a review. I give the food a 3 1/2 out of 5 and I give that smile behind the counter a 5 out of 5 service was great and fast.“

“The food was really good!! I would definitely go back. One reason is because the restrooms are very clean!! I feel that restaurants who have clean restrooms have clean kitchens. The place is well kept and food was handled very well. It’s not a lot business coming in because of the club next door. I think they would do great in a mall setting or outdoor mall in cedar hill only because of the club next door. The beef patties are heaven. I got the jerk chicken rice and cabbage.“
