I stopped by around 4pm on a Friday so i assume everyone was at work . My Gf is from Da chi, so I appreciate the suggestion. Small location but very convenience spot. Wait time is about 25 minutes So I suggest you order ahead of time if you have something to do .Definitely will be returning. I ordered, the 10 whole wings and fries. JJ's is a classic south-side fish and chicken joint. Nothing fancy to look at and no pretentious decor - chairs and tables, TV's and great food. But if you want great tasting consistent chicken wings or fish, JJ's is your spot. Very consistent food prepared the same way to get the same level of flavor and juiciness out of the first to last bite. They carry a big selection of deserts. Nice decor. Affordable prices. Fried chicken was ok. Although calamari looked like mozzarella sticks, it was pretty good. The batter was crunchy but calamari wasn’t overcooked or chewy.
