The ladies here were extremely accommodating, I had a very last minute cake order and they swiftly met the need and exceeded expectations. I ordered a six inch 2 layer vanilla/ chocolate cake and the taste was overall decent. My only negative was the price $34.11 which I felt was a bit excessive but this was probably due to the time constraint. Overall I'll give the experience 4 stars and will most definitely consider them again if and when I need a sweet treat!

DISAPPOINTED!!! We ordered a cake from this bakery for my nieces 15 celebration first off the cake was $400! Yes the cake presentation was pretty but for that amount of money they could have at least used REAL flowers on the cake for that amount of money! Second the cake was way to moist so as we were trying to cut the cake for our guests each piece was literally falling apart it was a huge darn mess!! Even our guests were asking what happened to the cake and why was it falling apart like that which was a little embarrassing. The taste was okay but nothing over the top and definitely not with all of that money spent! Then when the owner came to deliver the cake she wasn’t to friendly which I noticed right away I didn’t like her demeanor. She definitely needs to sharpen up her customer service skills especially when customers are spending so much money!!

Finally a place that delivers what is promised!I was at John's Trikes and popped in to see what this place offered. I'm rarely tempted by bakeries because I am always disappointed, it seems. I liked this chaotic little place as soon as I walked in. It seems it's always been there, like since Lancaster was established. I studied everything in the cases and settled on a slice of carrot cake, with the bold claim to be the best in the country! Really a perfect set up for disappointment. I paid and tucked it in the ice chest for later. Well, it's later and my husband I easily made 2 servings from the single slice. Yes. Yes indeed, this is the real deal. Moist and full of fruit and nuts, it's like great grandmas recipe. The frosting is piled on and perfect. Seriously, this is where you should stop if you are ever in the area! Thanks, ladies!!!

I looked for a bakery for several weeks that still made their own fresh buttercream frosting. I called Oven Lovin and the owner answered the phone. This is what I ask everyone I called… “I’m looking for a bakery that makes their own buttercream frosting and doesn’t use the pre-made commercial frosting. He immediately said “that’s us!” I even had a conversation with him regarding how I had always used Casa Linda Bakery and the commercial frosting they were using was horrible. I picked up my cake on a Saturday afternoon and the minute I started driving out of the parking lot I could smell the bad commercial made frosting. Smelt just like Casa Linda Bakery frosting. It has a fake smell and smells like a gallon bottle of almond extract was dumped on the cake. The cake and the decoration was ok but what is birthday cake without a good frosting. I paid almost $50 for a 1/4 sheet cake that was not edible. I called the bakery on their next opening day. A different person answered and I had lots of questions but the main question was. “Do y’all use a commercial pre-made frostings?” They Answered yes. The main question I had ask the owner when I first called. I was lied to and bought a cake I would have never bought.

Called last minute for a birthday cake for my 5 year old. She requested roses, daisies, bluebonnets and butterflies. The cake turned out adorably and when I was in shop I got to sample some delicious treats! The bakery was very accommodating, cake was done on time and all items we brought home were delightful. Happy with the service!

Lovin Oven is always a family favorite when it comes to their cakes. I recently ordered chocolate cupcakes for my daughter's 6th birthday and everyone loved them, I do not have pictures of them, but they were good and moist.Great customer service every time I have ordered from them. I can post some previous cakes from them that I love.We love the chocolate cake, strawberry cake w/dipped strawberries and the coconut cake is also popular in our family. Their german chocolate cake is also delicious.

An established bakery with awesome delicacies hand crafted with quality ingredients. Walk-in or order and pick up special orders. We ordered the carrot cake, it was pretty, ample, luscious, and sweet, but not overly sweet. A birthday tradition.

would order my birthday cakes when I was a child and 30+ yrs later, I’m buying my kids birthday cake from here. I ordered a 10” inch round strawberry lemon cake with butter cream. Will upload photos of finished cake when I pick it up 2wks from now. I gave 5 stars because I know the place and had 10+ cakes from here and it never disappointed.

I have been going here for 12 yrs. I buy 3 buttercream cakes a year. I went last weekend and the icing taste different it had a cinnamon taste. I called back and the owner told me to bring a piece back on Tuesday. I made it there after driving 40 min one way. The owner wasn't there but I was told by the cake decorator that she had been saying the same thing. Other employees agreed that it do taste different and they are using a different vendor. The owner never called me back after waiting patience I called back today now I been told they can give me another cake with the same icing. I was told I will b reimburse $42 but now y would I want another cake. Poor Customer Service.Walter Jamerson

Oh my y'all need an Oscar for how good your cakes are. Every year I order an Italian Cream Cake from here and it never ceases to be amazing!!! So fresh and hands down no one can make Italian Cream like Lovin Oven. They've been in business for over 50 years. Amazing
