I was visiting from out of town. Was looking for something off the path and boy did i find it. Looks like an empty building from the outside and there is no sign, but I saw the wooden doors slightly open. The interior is stunning and the food is amazing. I had the Pollo a la vasca. The flavor punched me in the face. I highly recommend you check this place out. Would be excellent for date night.

A Jazz band was playing tonight. Great ambiance! Really enjoyed it. They were out of select menu items. Over priced bottles of wine. Small portions. Mashed potatoes had no flavor.
Everything went according to plan.
We hadn't been here in a long while. We normally go to Tabernilla be We figured we try something different. Major disappointment. We were greeted right away and sat at a nice table. And as always, the place is lovely. There was a live band playing nice jazz BUT, it was way too loud. We literally could hear ourselves have a conversation. We wanted to try some wines. We asked our waiter for a wine manu and he informed us that they didn't have a wine menu. He suggested that we try a sampler. We figured we were getting a sample board, but rather it was just a small shot of some wine that he didn't even know the name. So we decided to just get beer. My wife ordered a sangria. We asked for Estrella Spanish beer and they didn't have it. We asked for a beer menu and waiter said they didn't have one but we were welcome to step up to the bar to see what beers they had. At that point we were getting frustrated. We asked for some food. While he was taking the order, being that he wasn't very knowledgeable, we decided to just order two items and asked that he cancel the third item. Took forever to get our drinks. My wife's sangria was mostly ice. We asked for another beer. He brought the food and sure enough, he brought the third item we had canceled. By this time we decided to just eat and leave. We asked for the tab and he over charged the other couple that we were with. And, he didn't charge me for the sangria. I'm not that type of person, so I showed him that he didn't charge me the sangria.
It's a shame, this place is beautiful but it just lacks some details to make it great.

Owner was very friendly!
Hidden gem in Laredo, Texas. If you want to visit Spain without having to leave your town, this is the place. A reduced but well planned menu which offers a variety of Spanish food, including paella, charcuterie, wine and some beer. Family friendly but at the same time can be used for a romantic date. Sometimes they play live music (bohemian mainly but have seen they sometimes bring Flamenco shows too). Something different from the rest of bars where the same music plays over and over. It's worth mentioning that the entrance was not very easy to find, since they keep the door closed, but once you open it, you're transported to the other side of the world.

We had such an amazing evening here on our first visit. Had Serrano ham manchengo cheese and olive appetizer. I had a variety of red wines and my husband tried different beers. For our entrees we had the paella and the steak both dishes were beyond delicious. We were planning on just stopping in for dinner and a glass of wine but ended up staying for the live music. The food and service were spectacular but the ambiance was unmatched especially in Laredo.

Only good for getting a glass of Spanish wine (very small selection) and listen to live music (Mexican music not Spanish). Jamón serrano was stale, olives were ok, manchego good, shrimp had no taste. Service is great, everyone is very friendly.
