The food was fresh, well seasoned, and beautifully presented, with lots of delicious options to choose from. The portions were satisfying, and the service was friendly and attentive. “Came to visit the family this weekend in Laredo and as always, looked at the small mom and pop places to eat at. I love bbq, love hamburgers too, and this place has both. My burger (Gorilla Burger) was on a huge grilled bun with thinly sliced grilled ham on top of a 6 inch patty. All the fixings were on it including melted cheese and grilled onions. The sauce they put on it was great. Fries were crispy and fresh, with some sprinklings of dry seasonings. Prices were good, servings large. Wife had the brisket sandwich which tasted good too.”

My suggestion to Los Jacales: please double-check your takeout orders before sending them out. This has happened several times now, and it really affects the experience.”

We decided to celebrate my sister’s birthday there somewhat late in the evening and the manager, David, worked with our large group to seat us close to each other and entertained/watched over our kids most of the night. If you like the almond croissants at Starbucks, these are better! Trice, almost four times the size and filling.
The lattes are also amazing! Not bitter and definitely not weak. Perfect to drink with your pastry of choice.
And the Croquet Madame was HUGE! Amazing flavor with the bechamel sauce, gouda, and muenster cheese. Even the garnish imparts flavor on the dish. Everything is clearly thought out and if you are a foodie this is a 10/10.”
