“This was my first time visiting Tensai. First of all, I really enjoyed the whole ambience of the place, the lights, the fixtures, the decorations. Everything was really nice, I would consider a nice spot for a romantic sushi date for dinner time. The food it self was also super good. The service was okay, but to be fair it seems like they were short-staffed at the moment. The rolls tasted super fresh, and the presentation was practically perfect. I got the mango roll and it was delicious. Their white rice with chicken was also very good. Would definitely come again. $$“

“While the food was outstanding, and the atmosphere and service very pleasant, it did take quite a long time for our food to come out once we had ordered. Our waitress apologized for the delay, and the food itself was worth the wait. Fortunately, we were not in any hurry due to a limited amount of time for a lunch break - otherwise, it would’ve been problematic.“

“Best place to grab sushi in Laredo. Small and quaint, amazing food, amazing owners and chefs. I love their round tuna tarts and their general tso chicken as well as most of their menu. It’s a bit on the pricier side but very worth the visit with my bestie every time I visit Laredo.“

“Ordered so much food. Everything our server brought to us was phenomenal!! She was so nice and very attentive. She kept a constant eye on us. Female restrooms were very clean. My only regret is not ordering one of their signature drinks, they all looked great!“

I have to admit the food is really good but Mary the cashier is not doing her job as she suppose to be.“

“We had cabrito en salsa roja. It was very very good! We’ve tried this dish before in other places and I was pleasantly surprised when I found out that this restaurant had this plate available. You can’t beat the price! $13.99 for a plate of cabrito is not bad at all! They also had cabrito a la mexicana which is also very good.“

“Great experience at La Laguna Marisco. The service is always attentive and friendly, and the food never disappoints. I always go for the aguachiles verdes de camarón—fresh, flavorful, and consistently delicious every time.
Prices are a bit on the higher side, but the quality and overall experience make it worth it. Definitely a place I’ll keep coming back to.“
