“The sign of good service from a sushi restaurant is when they include chopsticks. They always include them. They’re Sushi is just as good as the more popular places and I feel the price is appropriate to the quality. Never had a complaint.“
“This is definitely a spot to try. I was in Laredo for a week-long conference, and I was able to visit Sushi Madre twice during that week. My first visit I had Mixed Yakisoba and it was a huge portion and so delicious. Our server recommended a new item on the menu called Tostada Padre, available in time for Father's Day. I went with her suggestion and was not disappointed. It was one of the most delicious appetizers I have had in my life. The second time I visited Sushi Madre I had the Arroz Madre and I have to say it wasn't as delicious as the Yakisoba. If you are anywhere in the Laredo area, you have to visit sushi Madre.“
“WOW ! This seafood restaurant has a diverse selection of dishes to choose from. I will be glad to give them another visit. This was my first time there where my father and myself were recommended to have lunch. I ordered a seafood cocktail called vuelve la Vida, it had octopus, oysters, shrimp, crab, and more! I also enjoyed some very tasty fish tacos. It is a great place to eat and treat yourself to some great seafood!“
“the food here great, I love it! only thing is that they should double check what the order is before they hand it out to you. the lady was arguing w me and was sure she had put chicken in the tenppayaki and luckily I had proof that there was no chicken… the manager, mr. Eduardo, was generous enough to replace my meal for the inconvenience of my meal not having any chicken… so thank you for that! Really appreciate that. Also I love the cucumber lemonade.“

“We loved this small but great place. Excellent service from Bernardo, and the selected rolls, the sunomono salad, as well as his cheese cake dessert, a house specialty. They were incredible. Note: the Citron roll is one of them and the other I think was the Posh. Updated in January 2024. The delicious food and the unbeatable attention of Danna and Bernardo. It's very worth it.“
“Coming inside I was greeted immediately and taken to the bar too as requested. At the bar top I was greeted by Gabriel and given excellent service. He was knowledgeable of the drinks and the food.The atmosphere is beautiful. “Great Service. Great Flavors not just sushi but the plates as well. Not authentic Japanese if that is what you are looking for. It is a fusion of Japanese and Mexican flavor which hits the spot if you like that kick. The place is family friendly.“
