Love this chicken. My unique complaint is that they don't ask you if you want it spicy or normal so I ended having the normal.

The manager was very kind to us when we needed any products such as sauces, dishes, and a young man in the cashier area, speaking Spanish and English very well, supported us very kindly.

Ace of 8/1/24: 3.5 Stars
The staff & manager were friendly. Although the establishment should put more effort on flavor and quality control to make things better.
I walked in, so I could request an 8 or 10 piece family meal that included 2 sides. This selection process goes a bit more smoothly, with better manager options, at the Mines RD location.
Watch the cash register LCD display. The split-screen will indicate your order by item price on the left and the right side will display the name of the item(s). I noticed a container of jalapenos was included, even though I didn't order it.
We arrived home directly, no more than a 7 minute trip. I noticed the chicken wasn't as steamy hot as at other Laredo locations. It was lukewarm, probably from sitting under the heat lamps you can see in the pictures I took. The mashed potatoes lacked, well, potato flavor, and the brown gravy could've used a minor flavor boost. The honey topped biscuits lacked a good dose of honey.
Regarding our half and half order of spicy and regular chicken, the cook overcooked the spicy chicken. Although it didn't appear burnt, the flavor indicated otherwise. We also noticed the spice flavor was not the way it used to taste from our experience at other Texas locations. It was rather plain.
The chicken drum stick size shrank too. Church's usually sold larger pieces compared to Popeyes, Kentucky Fried and Bush's chicken....not anymore.
Credit cards are accepted. If you use cash, it's better if you pay with 20s instead of larger denominations. The indoor temperature was comfortable and the area was clean.
FYI: if it's late in the day, I'd call first. For some reason, this location's online hour postings don't match when they actually close. Be it the sign on their door or just by looking at the place when you get there, and you notice the lights are dim and the doors are locked while workers are still there.

The size of the chicken thighs was also reduced. Church's used to sell larger pieces compared to Popeyes, Kentucky Fried and Bush's Chicken... but that's no longer the case.

The restaurant and bathrooms were very clean. The cashier, Dinora, was very friendly and made my order to my liking. The chicken was hot, fresh, and tasty. We ordered the 2 piece special. It was a great deal. I recommend this restaurant 100%
