Moms home made cooking cuisine. The food was okay, it was plain, not really flavorful. The empanadas were delicious. The chicken was really soft. The pork was very chewy.The owners only accept cash or zelle. They don’t have a card reader. The parking spot right outside this place is a bus stop so we had to park across the street.
This is a unique little place, blink, and you'll miss it. The restaurant is run by a husband and wife. Their menu has 4 items every day that are rotated. Totally authentic Cuban food in Laredo. Food is excellent, tostones perfectly cooked and the rice and beans are the best I've had. Make sure and take cash. They don't take cards or any other electronic form of payment.
The funny part about this is that I haven't found a better Cuban restaurant outside of Laredo, Texas. Go figure! It is by far the best priced, best service, and besting Cuban restaurant ever...at least in my opinion. I've been Cuban restaurants in Miami, Atlanta, and New York...no dice...and the flavor isn't even close to this diamond in the rough.
