Everything is super nice..very friendly service..the only thing is that if they take a while it is because they take a while to eat there..it is so that the food is ready! From there on out everything was delicious; and recommended ? ?

Dont be fooled by this hidden gem. The place is small yet very clean, family operated and with grate flavor! It was our first time and we tried a bit of everything with the Platillo Típico Salvadoreño. We chose the Pupusa especial and Combinada, both were deliciously complemented by freshly made coleslaw and tomato sauce. The empanada and the pastel (made with plantain) were also good. My least favorite was the yucca itself because it was kind of bland, but the chicharrón on top was delicious. We tried Horchata de morro which was a refreshing combination of rice and cocoa flavors. Good prices and friendly service.

The popusas here are amazing! Best popusas I've had and I've tasted many in different places. The sauce was just right. The horchata morro was quite delicious.

The last time I had pupusas was over ten years ago when the were home cooked by a Salvadoreña family I knew as a teenager. I had since forgotten about this food until I ordered the "tipico" here. From the first bite it was like a lightbulb going on in my mind where I remembered all the fun times I had with those people sharing pupusas at the table. Very thankful for reconnecting with those memories. If ever you're passing through Laredo, give yourself a meal that you'll remember. It's absolutely worth it.

We were visiting from San Antonio and had heard great things about ESA. Well we definitely were not disappointed! Great food and great service! We had the plate that had a little bit of everything, it was so delicious! The pic doesn't do it justice, sorry for bad photo skills! Oh be sure to ask for the Habanero sauce-if you have a pepper belly like me, you'll love it!

I was visiting from Illinois to visit family for a week and I wanted something different and found this gem. I got the traditional plate with a little bit of everything. It was delicious! I highly recommend this restaurant and the staff was so kind!

First time! Owner was great told me what everything was. Never had this style of Central American food and it's delicious. I will be back.

While visiting family in town we saw this and thought pupusas sounded tasty.. so called ahead and within 15-20 min our order was ready! The Salvadoran plate (around ~$12) was a great deal, and honestly could probably feed two people for lunch. The platanos were also a very tasty addition. Overall, if you're looking to try pupusas in the area then no need to look further!
