Beautifully designed space with good Japanese style food. I have tried chicken karage which came out straight from the fryer. Then I have tried chicken curry. It was OK. Kind of satisfied my need for Japanese curry but was not anything special. Feels like it was slapped out of S&B curry rue blocks.
Comfortable chairs.
Service was great. Clean bathroom. I guess I will need to try ramen next time around.
Great place overall.

The flood is excellent and authentic! However the only bummer is there is no kids option's no juice no kids menu. My kids love ramen and when we go they have to get an adult meal for $16 and drink water bc they don’t like sodas. I hope in the future they can add more kid friendly items.
Kid-friendliness: Needs to add kid friendly items.

Compared to other ramen places I've tasted this is by far the worst. Over priced for the size of portion, looks like noodles came straight from a Maruchan. For people who don't know, those are the instant ones you heat up in the microwave. Glad to say I'll stay away from kiwami ramer.
I love ramen and it was my first time trying this place out. It was recommended to me by one of my friends and I’m glad he did. First the atmosphere is very chill good music not load or to soft just right. Service was great my server gave me recommendations for an appetizer as well as what to get for an entree and I’m glad I did I was not disappointed. I had the spicy curry ramen bowl and it was delicious not too spicy but just the right amount of spicy to make it taste delicious. I highly recommend trying it out if you like ramen.

Coconut milk tea was ordered this evening and boba was hard in the center. Edamame was also undercooked and under-salted. The ramen was fabulous as was the fried rice. Will try again… perhaps they were having an off night.

The best ramen I’ve had in Laredo! The spice was perfect. I had the Kiwami Aka. Super happy to have found this place. It smelled a bit like cleaning products to me the whole time we were there. But the great service and food made up for that!

this place was so welcoming, I’m glad I had a great first time experience. Everything was delicious and the atmosphere was so chill. Our waiter was really nice too. definitely will continue to go here. The ramen I chose was the #2 Kiwami aka. It had great taste and the spicy-ness was not too spicy, it was just perfect. ☺️ the chicken black fried rice ? was so delicious, as well as the gyoza ? ??

I’d give this place 3.5 stars. Food came out fast. Patrick was our server and he did a great job, he’s good at what he does. The Ramen broth tastes heavily like miso. I ordered the Kiwami Ake , which is a spicy pork broth based ramen. I was thrown off with all the miso flavor. The heat on the ramen was spot on. I ordered a poached egg on the side and it was really cold, almost like it had been refrigerated, ended up not being runny as a regular poached egg would be, and hot ramen and cold poached egg don’t mix well. Wife had a broth bowl and gyozas. The Gyozas tasted good. Overall with my experience, it’s not a bad spot for ramen. Portion sizes seem fair and I was full at the end of our visit.
